Course Curriculum Overview
The coarse gives not only theoretical but also practical knowledge by giving internships , conducting presentations and research The timings of the exam is 3 hours . Reasonable number of holidays given in between exams which gives enough time to study
Internships Opportunities
The internships are posting in the students portal often so the student can keep checking and choose the right internships according to the requirements. The stipend ranges from 5,000 to 30,000. It is also timing friendly as you can attend your internship after your colleges timings . The internship can be offline or online
Placement Experience
After the 2nd year the students are eligible to apply for placements . The college also provides with pre placemets talks with the company and placement preparations Around 70 to 80% of the students get placed The average CGPA to sit for placements is 6 The average package ranges from 4 lakhs to 18 lakhs being the highest My plan is to move abroad after bachelors in which the college helps with recommendation letters
Fees and Financial Aid
?95,000 yearly fee for bcom professional. BCom general cost around ?70,000 Whereas bcom IAF costs above ?100,000 Not much of extra fees were charged during the coarse except for your supplementary and revaluation which is about ?500
Campus Life
There are a number of fests in mount Carmel college ranging from fun activities to academic goals to dj nights , etc Mcc also has the highest number of associations in which the students can take part
Hostel Facilities
I haven't really been in the hostel But there are no complaints from the girls in the hostel either There are also pg's available near college which is very afforadable Staying in the hostel or pg can save a lot of time
Admission
My first preference was mount Carmel college and I got it there It did take a lot of time for the admission approval . This requires a lot of patience . I had applied in different colleges too and got my seat but nothing like how I wanted to get into mount Carmel college
Faculty
The faculty is mount Carmel college is very friendly where a very few may be strict . There are 2 internal assessments , 2 assignments and end semester . The internals are valued for 30 makrs One online and one offline The assignments are valued at 10 marks each , one written and one presentation
Interview Experience
There are many rounds during the placements Which starts from your resume to the interview Creating a unique resume plays a major role Having knowledge about the field is important And most importantly your confidence in answering
