Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well designed for the sake of students to gain knowledge by following 'Bloom's' method. The curriculum helps students to score good marks and maintain better GPA. The exams conducted by the university keeps students on the track to complete the syllabus by covering ever topic of an individual subject. Assignments help to cover the marks which are not upto the mark in mid term and end term exams.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies often visit the campus to recruit students for various roles of jobs. Companies such ah EDOOFA , MY CAPTAIN, TCS, PHILIPS, ASRM, COGNIZANT, ACCENTURE CAPGEMINI, HOPING MINDS ect provided internships with good stipend and accomodation. They also work along with the students to train them and make them better.
Placement Experience
The placements provided are depends upon students and their skills. Many students like to go to a technical company which is related to their core, but the companies visit the campus are mostly sales and marketing companies. Sometimes management forces students to choose sales and marketing companies due to recession and heavy competition in the outside world. Sales and marketing companies visit more often compared to technical companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee varies with the course you choose. I'm currently pursuing Bachelor of technology in electronics and communication engineering (ECE). The tution fee is 1,20,000 per semester and after applying II category scholarship the fee per semester is 74,400/-. Exam fee for every semester is 4000 , reappear fee for each paper is 350 and backlog fee for each paper is 12,350. Additional we need to purchase some lab manuals for labs that'll be around 100-200. Hostel and food fee is seperate based on the option you choose.
Campus Life
LPU is a place where students can improve their social skills by interacting with audiance in any kind of cultural events. Students also have the opportunity to form a club and organise events. Library with many kind of books help to improve knowledge and provide information for research work. Each class is equipped with a projector to display things visually to the students for better understanding.
Admission
There might not be everything perfect with the most advanced technology in Lovely Professional University, but compared to other universities there are some pros. The minimum attandance should be 75% , there is no link to the scholarship and the GPA, where as in other universities they stop the scholarship if the student doesn't have minimum GPA. Fee is somewhat less compared to other universities, suitable to gain better communication skills.
Faculty
Faculty are sufficient for the students to handle and alternative faculty or Postponing the class can be done while the regular one is on leave. The question papers are prepared by the faculty. Most of the faculty interacts with students and support them to learning new things by guiding the students. In a semester there will be 3 CAs , 1 mid term and 1 end term exams. 2 out of 3 CA marks and mid term marks including the attandance marks for each individual subjects are carried out to the end term marks.
Interview Experience
The topics for the GD which I have attended are "Impact of covid on online education", "Role of engineers in current lifestyle", "If you are a final year student, how do you prepare for placements", "Impact of Trupm on global economy as the Presidentof The UnitedStates", "AI and Core", "Role of EV in the upcoming days", etc. In order to appearing for interview first students should have minimum CGPA which is variable from company to company and the number of standing arrears and then the student should register for the company through the registration portal. The rounds that are going to be held will be mention in the job description provided in the placement portal.
