- the faculty's of our college are well experienced and have lot of knowledge. most of them are very helpfull in nature.
- The events are best part of college life. in NIT jalandhar 2 main events are organized by college clubs. Team technical affairs organize Techniti event it is technical event and Team cultural affairs organize Utkansh that is cultural event.
- these events are organized every year and there are many clubs that organize various events like state events by reasonal club.
Dislikes
- accadmics work have lot of headache. for many work you have to walk lot from one person to another.
Placement Experience
Placement is normal as other colleges top companies also approach for placement and hire the students from out college. in our branch highest package of biotechnology is 18 LPA and average package is 7.37 LPA, 50% of us was placed and few of us are go for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fees for different categories are different and fee is also different for odd and event semesters and fees is also vary for Hostelr and day scholars. Now talk about fee structure, One time caution money is 10 thousand. the hostel fee for one semester that is included in college fee. the college fee for hostelers are 25500(for SC/ST), 46340(for SC and general whose income is below 5 lahks), and 88000(whose income is above 5 lakh) . 17000 is the tution fee that is included in the fee mentioned above other are added in the lab, development, library, gym etc, and the hostel fee is 8500 which is reduced for day scholar students who don't want to stay at the hostel. for the mess, you have to pay 25500 per semester and they will return you refund as your year-end. this is for one semester
Campus Life
i enjoyed the campus life apart from studies college life is best. i learned many things stay alone, new friends,trips college events are the best. i already mentioned infromation about the clubs. during Techniti Punajbi singer Ninja was invoted and he performed best. and best things about events are Dj at the end they play songs and all the students start dance. there is a social club prayaas family that work on unprivillaged childerens, help them in thier overall growth and study.
Hostel Facilities
the recommendation free of 8500 for one semester is included in the semester registration fee. the rooms are in good condition they provide a bed, table, chair, and almera in room. washing machine is also provide by hostel. the food taste and quality is not best but its healty and we wait for some days when they make tasty dishes like paneer, pratha etc. internet concetivity is also provided by hostel. fee for mess is 25500.
Admission
NIT Jalandhar is not the top best college but it is a good college to complete the degree. i am from Punjab and this is near my home town, otehr all the colleges have large distance soo i chose this college. addmision process is simple just follow the instruction and steps mentioned after selecting college in Josa rounds. placement is normal campus is not in the city so we face some difficulty.,
Faculty
The faculty of every department are knowledgeable and experienced. they all are well trained by their experience. 6 subjects in most of the semester and all teachers are tried their best. i cant tell you the names but few of them are best people i have ever seen. they also listen to our personal problems if we want to talk to them. but few are following rules strictly and the highest number of back are in those subjects. attendance policy is strict but few teachers handle it if you are near 75% and you talk to them about your problem honestly.
