Course Curriculum Overview
-Very direct and straightforward curriculum does not deviate from the course objectives -projects in final sem help us in getting an idea about implementation of our knowledge into real world problems and how we can cater to solve them -Exams are conducted at university level and are intermediate level difficult
Fees and Financial Aid
For Shivaji college, baad , Karwar, Karnataka which runs under Karnataka University Dharwad -Per year fees comes down to around 35k -Per sem tuition fee comes down to 15k -Exam fees are around 1k per sem more if u have backlogs from last sem -You can easily get SSP scholarship which gives financial aid around 3k I believe there is no exemption of fees for sc/st if they are about poverty line
Campus Life
There are many events throughout the year Every year a different and unique event is planned and executed by the management and the final year students. Library is well equipped. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors. Sports and extracurriculars are highly encouraged by the college. There are no much social groups
Admission
I dint apply to any other college This was my only choice I applied through University admissions and was eligible to get a seat so I admission was confirmed Eligibility is 45% in PUC (+12) to get admission
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is quite good approx 1:40 they are always eager to help. HOD of BCA department uptil 2023 is a remarkable teacher. Such a good mentor. Basically there are 2 Internal Assesments And 1 sem exam, 2 assignment per sem per subject. Average from the internals are added to the final score along with assignment score along with theory paper score
