Likes

There are 60:40 boys girls ratio in my class . I like the unity of my college. There such co curricular activities performed every week in our college.
The college have a great infrastructure itself. There are so many buildings in the campus a big play ground. Girls hostel , Boys hostel for SC , ST . A basketball court. A big canteen for all the students and college staffs .
There is also a cafeteria in the campus. The teachers are way friendly.

Dislikes

There is no proper class schedule for this course. When the teachers want they can cancel the class . The faculty is soo bad . As you are expecting a good campus placement from this college you are wrong there are no campus placement here .
The lab teacher is very bad and also the lab assistant . And also you rarely get a lab class . Properly I am telling there is no lab classes they are providing to students. Teaching method is so simple and still you can not understand.
If it's about the course matter then the college is too bad not only in this course overally in all self fincing courses .

Course Curriculum Overview

I'll give the course a solid 5 star ? but you have to choose the best college, best faculty, and best management . In this IT demanding world you can choose this IT course for a better carrier . There should be a change in the colleges teaching method. They should teach us in new methods in they give us more labs to experience the things and betterly know about the studies.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly course fees is 30000/- . Tution fees 132/- Session charge is 366/- . CD fees is 250 /- . And the exam fees is 1700 INR . The total amount is 32448 INR. And yes there are some scholarships available in the college for this course . And you can check it in the Odisha government state scholarship portal website. This scholarship is for all the categories like general, SC,ST , and OBC.

Campus Life

There are no such festivals in the college but you can enjoy a vibe when a festival comes. There are soo many libraries in the college according to the courses . You can go and grab the book you want . There is no such facilities and technological provisions within the classroom. There are so many sports and extracurricular activities offered in the college.

Admission

I chooseed this college because for the name and fame of the college. BJB Autonomous college is the no 1 autonomous college all over in Odisha . The cut offs are too high here . That's why I chooseed it. The admission Process is too simple when the college gives a article on account of opening the course in the BJB college official website you can check it and go through it . Contact the college and fill a form for a entrance exam. If you have cleared the entrance exam the you got a college admission notice in your mail then you can go to the college and got admission .

Faculty

The relationship between the faculties and the students is good actually. Our HOD is a great man in case of study and also in management. There are 2 mid sem and 2 semester in a year . The exam is damn too strict. No one can cheat in the exam hall . Almost all students cleared the exams except for 1 or 2 .

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

In 5th semester the campus is coming to give you jobs. The company are vedant ltd, jsw, tata, reliance etc, outside companies also come. Maruti Suzuki. 60 to 70 per cent of students gate the job. I am also job junior engineer at Tata.

Courses and instructors are good, but don't expect a rocking campus life here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this college without planning as I couldn't get a desired seat in IIT. But I think it was for good. The course is a wonderful primer on the path of becoming a scientist. Compared to other colleges, IISER Berhampur has a quite good faculty: student ratio. But most of them are pretty good as people and as teachers. We manage to conduct all classes without fail. But I'd like to see an increase in the number so that the research area can be broadened. The faculty here have all completed their Ph.D. and postdoc and all have some good prior experience in research and teaching. I like most of the instructors that have taught me except for a few one or two. The exam schedule is given right with the calendar release of each semester before the semester starts. Sometimes there might be changes in the schedule but we are informed around 2-3 weeks earlier in that case. Exams are not hard to pass if you attend classes and study sincerely. Questions are not asked beyond the concepts being taught.

Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.
