Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum of this course is industry based which makes me to took admission for this course and university. 1st year curriculum is not that much helpful as it mainly focuses on theory and basic study of all branches but 2nd year onwards the started curriculum are very helpful and industry based for a student to get job in their respective field or branch. Frequency of exams and tests are little bit high which makes little tough to clear all subjects tests effectively these things need to be improved.

Internships Opportunities

4

As I have mentioned you earlier that I have got admission in this year in this college so I am new for this college and doens't know much about internship as I am in only 1st semester now but seniors give good reviews about internship opportunities and placement details to me so i can say that after 3rd year your internship and exploring the industry, doing projects, internship or placement related activities starts.

Placement Experience

4

After 5th or 6th semester one can easily become eligible for campus placements. Companies which often vist this University for placement are dell, Infosys, samsung,L&T,Tata, reliance etc Highest placement vary every year this year highest placement was somewhat near 30 lakhs nad average packages are continuously increasing year by year earlier it was 5-6 lakhs but now it has become 7-8 lakhs per annum. Decent number of students placed around 70-80% students are placed every year and some choose higher studies. My plans after completing my degree is to try to get campus placement if not got then try harr to find off campus placement and settle in my life after my four studies rather than going to higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have got admission this year in Jamia Millia Islamia University and I paid 16625Rs fees for my btech course which is very cheap compare to the other universities which offers same course for lakhs of tution fees per annum. This 16625Rs fees includes all fees like tution fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees , lab fees and other compulsory charges during the course completion and this fees is for all category student despite of his reservation in admission. My batch mates also pay the same fees for our same course and yes scholarships are also available which is both reservation based and merit based one can apply for scholarship who is eligible for any scholarship scheme.

Campus Life

4

Fest are not frequently organise in this college there are very less fest held as compare to other universities like delhi university, IITs etc. Range of books and journals are very good in their libraries. There is a very good collection of books in their libraries and also libraries have good facilities like wifi, good chairs and tables wide space for more students. Sports facilities are available there as there is a cricket ground, basketball ground and gym for health.

Admission

As I have mentioned earlier that the fees for my btech course is very cheap as compare to other colleges that's why I chose this college over other colleges this college gives you a good return on investment as fees is very less and average package is also decent. No I didn't applied for any other colleges nor I didn't receive any rejection. Admission process is very simple and smooth for this college and course. First of all you have to give jee mains exam and to score good rank if your rank lies less than 1.5lakhs you will surely get admission in this college for any btech branch according to your rank. So after getting cutoff rank you will need to fill their seperate registration form for admission as this University doesn't participate in josaa and other counselling it conducts their own counselling so for this you have to fill their admission form in around month of March -April then after declaration of jee mains result they start selecting students according to their cutoff and give them admission. If your name comes then simply you just have to go with your documents and complete their admission process and pay fees then that's it your admission is complete and start your classes.

Faculty

4

The faculty in my university are overall well qualified and experienced in their field. Some faculty are very good and some faculty are like whom with you don't match much good bonding. Every semester there are two sessional tests which is not that tough to score good marks only end semester exams are little bit difficult to score good marks but you can score good marks if you study from starting and go to exam after solving previous year questions which have same pattern.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
