Heaven and Hell at the same place

First of all I took a really amazing course. I knew about the scope and future of this course on a career guidance program i went. So this course help us to study about the growing industries like semiconductors etc. This course consists both electronics and instrumentation. If you're interested in this course it's good to choose. In our examination schedule it would take 4+ months to write semester exam every semester and you would have a lot of mock test and two internal exams for every subject.

Our college provide intership itself and also you can do your own on companies. Companies like NLC are in collaboration with our college. Stipend will not provided in our college internships. I personally doesn't take any internships now.

So our college provide a maximum package of 8Lpa and an average package of 6Lpa. It's very low for people who came with big expectations. I have better plans then the college offer. The placements are given after completing the 2nd year of our college. I have an interest of going to government sector so I didn't care about the placements and package.

I already mentioned about the hostel and tuition fees. Now the college asks a exam fees of 1500+/sem. And Sc/ST candidates will get a lot of reservation benefits. And there also a 7.5 reservation in our college. But this reservation you can study without any fees but you should study 6th to 12th on a government school.

Our college has a lot of social club, extracurricular activities etc. First I came with the infrastructure, it has a massive infrastructure i have already told about. So our college has 2 libraries for the engineering where you can access 20000+ books. Extracurricular activities like NCC, NSS ,Red cross etc are provided if you're interested. Sports meet is annually provided as Annual sports meet in the university level. And also sports day is provided every semester on department level. Every class has a projector and computer based labs are air conditioned.

The Hostel room is pretty good after the first year . On the first year the rooms are worst because every room has attached bathrooms and also they were not clean. After the first year you have a common toilet and the hostel management clean it every day. The food is generally worst in every hostel. Every food tastes like the same ( tasteless) so nothing to say about the food. The hostel provide some non veg side dishes if pay some money on the mess it tastes good along. The PG or rooms around the college are 1300+ per person/month so it's better to stay in hostel. And you get an excellent experience and enjoyment on the hostel.

I applied for a lot of colleges in the TNEA councelling but I took this college and course on the first place. I took IT on this college on the first place and My course on the second because I have some computer knowledge on the starting but there was only one seat left so I got my course which I placed on the second. I took this college because it was a government college and the fees is plenty good compared to other colleges. There is no management quota in our college and there also no entrance exam. You should only came through the TNEA councelling. So the admission process is pretty simple you should pay the fees and submit the documents and to get the admission.

Students would get their faculties based on their department. I personally like all the faculties I have studied though. But in my second semester I have computer lab as a subject. There is staff who reduced my internal marks without any reason. I hate that guy. There are lot of good faculties in our department while some evils like this still exists but most of them are good in the ratio of 100:1.
