Likes

We have amazing labs and I mean that like you can get serious knowledge about the labs
The environment in the college is top notch it's peaceful
No ragging, I'm being serious about this you have zero ragging system on campus

Dislikes

There's no diversity like 70 Percent of the campus has Tamil students and rest are scattered among telugu and malyalam speaking kids
Trust meh on this there's a bit of partiality
You don't get good exposure to opportunities much

Course Curriculum Overview

Circullum is well established and also it's changes every 4yrs in order to adapt to the present world requirements and the teaching methods are jus regular like it's not as interesting as you expect coz all you are exposed is a set of slides without definitive understanding at times

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 425000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

So basically the fee is based on merit soo there are 4 slabs, slab one has a fee of 1.5 lakh per annum, slab 2 has fee of 2.5lakh, slab 3 has a fee of 3.5lakh and slab 4 has 4.25lakh And in order to hold on to slab 1,2 or 3 you should maintain a gpa of 7 and shouldn't acquire any backlogs during the course failing which you lose your slab and are moved down by one slab say from slab one to two

Campus Life

We have ANOKHA which is a annual tech fest and stays for 3 days and it's lit!! And ONAM celebrations are fire and we do celebrate lotta other festivals in college along with club programs all around the year and we have sports tournies

Admission

Major reason for choosing is the placement percentage and the also the college has quite a reputation all over India and if you wanna get into amrita you gotta take amrita extrance test which compared to jee can be easy followed by a interview or a secondary test jus to filter out merit

Faculty

The faculty are amazing apart from the fact that almost everyone of em are Tamil speaking soo you might face a bit of trouble understanding the slang and exams are super tough like I can strongly say atleast 65 percent students acquire atleast one the entire journey

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Amrita and its Dubbing voice

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. I couldnt get vit because of high rank, in cuet exam i got seat at pondicherry university. but still chose amrita for its reputation, infrastructure, and curriculum. first you should attend an entrance examination called AEEE escpecially for amrita vishwa vidhyapeetham, which has 2 phases. after both phases you get placed in a ranking system. for each range of ranks each department holds a rank exceptancy of the entrance participants. other than AEEE you can also get throw using JEE marks...Read More

A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
