I did not get CSE in Vellore, can I prefer ECE in Vellore or CSE in Amrita based on my future career?

A few of my friends are pursuing CSE at Amrita University and here are some tips according to their experience - Considering many reviews that Amrita University is not up to the mark, it is suggested to drop one year and prepare well so that you can get a good seat at NIT at least. You can try BITSAT as well. But don’t spoil your future by going into any college, which you will regret throughout your life. Ece is the strictest department in the whole campus. All the labs are evaluation labs and even if you miss one lab there are more chances that you get a F and repeat the whole lab again

Fees and Financial Aid:

I am from Non scholarship category and my tuition fee is 400000. There are 3 schlorship categories and the fees vary according to which slab you belong to. Slab 1 - 125000, Slab 2 - 250000, Slab 3 - 300000, and sleb 4/ non schlorship : 400000.

this college. The most thing is people love, hear the Kirkland. The curriculum is so good that it is made in. It is made in other countries which is totally good like you have the best curriculum ever like you have some course subjects like not havin

The tuition fee actually depends on the rank that we get if we get in to get a good rank. Then we have to pay around 1,20,000, which is considered a slab one, but if we get some below 2000 ran, we have to pay around two lakhs which is considered as Lab two, and for the people who get less rank are requested to pay four lakhs which is considered as three and the person who didn't wrote a EEE exam are considered to be a part of non-scholarship exam so for them for Branch, it is around four lakhs and for computer science branches that is around six and half lakhs

Student Snaps:

The year-wise fees is 2,35,000. Hostel fees is 49,000. Mess fees is 53,000. Registration fees was 5000. Caution fees is 10,000. I'm in scholarship slab 2. My batchmates in slab 3 pay 3,00,000, slab 1 pay 1,25,000.

My genuine opinion on my college

Based on AEEE and JEE percentile the fees will be in 3 slabs . 1st slab 125000 nad 2nd slab 235000 and 3rd slab 330000 4th slab 450000.there is no caste reservation here.this for some branches only for cse the 4th slab fees is 600000. The average package of cse coimbatore is 9LPA . Mess fee is 49000 and Hostel feee is 58000 . Caution deposit is 10000 for tuition fee and 10000 for hostel feee

Facilities are not so much compared to the fees.

The year wise fees I paid is 500000 which includes tuition fee of 4,00,000 , caution fees is 10,000 ,and 1,00,000 other fees including hostel and mess food . The other fees starts from 1 lakh to 3 lakhs . This is an aicte approved university so aicte , women scholarships , etc are available.

A honest review from a engineer

So basically the fee is based on merit soo there are 4 slabs, slab one has a fee of 1.5 lakh per annum, slab 2 has fee of 2.5lakh, slab 3 has a fee of 3.5lakh and slab 4 has 4.25lakh And in order to hold on to slab 1,2 or 3 you should maintain a gpa of 7 and shouldn't acquire any backlogs during the course failing which you lose your slab and are moved down by one slab say from slab one to two

My experience

We will be paying 3 lakhs per year excluding hostel fee,if you want to stay in hostel it takes upto 70k per year,it doesn't increase with time being. The total tution fee for ECE in amrita for the entire course will be 12lakhs

The fees that i pay is around 4lakhs which is an average amount to pay for an engineering student in any private universities. There are merit scholarships that are available in this college . These scholarships will reduce the amount by half also
