College Review

Positives:- College has good infrastructure and is clean and well maintained. College has some parks and library with good collection of books. Negative:- Placement is not good. Students teacher ratio is also not good. College hostels are expensive and are not well maintained. Mess food is also not as expected.

College curriculum is nice. DSCE is an autonomous college so they have made alot of amendments for better performance. We have three internal exam and one semester end exam for each semester along with laboratory exams. Passing mark is 40% of total marks. This new curriculum has brought improvement in academics.

Some of the decent companies like Oracle, Infosys, JP Morgan, PayTM, etc. Highest placement:- 12.5 lakhs Average Placement:- 3-4 lakhs College provides internships to 3rd-year students. Students also get internship opportunities through E-Summit.

1.Cultural fests:- Vibrations Furore 2. E-Summit This year first year students organised a Tech Fest named "Insignia". We have many fun events like Treasure hunt, PUBG, Counter Strike, mock IPL auctions, etc also in these fests.

As it's a private college so it's quite expensive. The total fee is around 2.4 lakhs a year which includes 1.83 lakhs of tuition fees and other fees. 2000 caution money is also charged for Library which is refundable.

College offers schlorships and loan facilities to only SC/ST students (minority students). These students have less tutions fees and they are also given some of the special library facilities. General category students are not provided with any such facilities.

College does not have good facilities for sports buts its better than other competitive college. College has a big playground, basketball court, lounge tennis court and a gym. Regular workshops are organised for extra skills. College has decent labs.

There are two kinds of hostels for both boys and girls. 1. NRI Hostel 2. Indian Hostel NRI hostel has accommodation for 2 students in a room with attached bathroom whereas Indian hostel has accommodation for 4 students in a room and it has a common bathroom on each floor. About 80 students share 7 bathrooms and 7 latrines. Indian hostel charge - 115000 per annum (includes mess charge) NRI hostel- 110000 (excludes mess charge) Mess charge- 45000

Senior students are helpful. They organise some workshops. Each department organises different types of workshops. This year Mechanical department organised Robot workshops, CSE department organised Hackathons, aeronautical department organises arcis and helps students build model aeroplanes.

Most of the faculties are well experienced and have good knowledge of the subject. There are some faculties who don't have proper teaching skills too. There are some professors, associate professor and assistant professor.
