Remarks
Really good if you want to amp up your social life and groom yourself. Mobile phones are not allowed to be used in the campus so that is a negative point, it can only be used in laboratories and washrooms and sometimes in canteen, not in classrooms.
Course Curriculum Overview
My college is affiliated with Mumbai University so all the exams and the course curriculum is as per Mumbai University. Its a bit tough to have exams literally all the time, but that's what Engineering is!
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities actuallu depend on the student's intellect and confidence. College name does matter, but very significantly. Placements are overall just fine, we have companies like TCS recruiting duringon campus recruitment drives.
College Events
1. IEEE TECHITHON- technical fest of the college which is a 3 to 4 days event and is really fun to be part of. 2. RHYTHM EMBER- annual cultural fest of the college. I personally was a part of the working committee and it was one the best experiences of my life till date. Then we have Sports Week, TEDxACE, other cultural activities, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is dependent on the caste category of the student. So if you're a backward caste student, it is feasible. If not, the fees is slightly expensive for general category students. But even then, you can apply for Scholarships.
Fees and Financial Aid
Personally I haven't availed any scholarships from the college but they have waiver schemes for backward category students. Besides, you can apply for scholarship schemes offered by the State Government, which will be informed to you by the college.
Campus Life
Laboratories are really nice but only for second, third and fourth year students. For first year students, labs are just average. There are computer labs with all apple products so the quality is really nice of practical work.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are really helpful. Specially if you are a part of the student's council, its like your second family. Being a part of any working committees in various fests is also really good way to know your seniors.
Faculty
The faculty is also just slightly above average. There are some teachers with excellent knowledge and teaching skills. But for the others, they know nothing. So it's a wonderful stroke of luck if you get good teachers in a particular semester. Otherwise, you can always go to you favourite professors to solve your doubts.
