The tale of IISM

As i am fond of sports so it was my first time hearing a college which gives us the opportunity to be in the sporting environment of the country as well as the world. The subjects some of them are really important in the buisness aspect of sports. The only improvement i would suggest is that the college should have more sports related subject which are really needed for us and not few subjects like mythology and etc. The externals exams of each sem happens around june and december respectively each year.

There are several internship opportunities from college from companies namely DNA networks, SFA ETC. they offer mainly on field operations works in IPL and Sfa organises several tournaments where they have many management groups such as operations social media communication team etc

After sem 5 the students starts getting placement related mails from college and during the 3 and 4th sem the students have to do a compulsory summer internship which contains marks for the external exams. The companies visited are adidas, DNA networks, female cricket, SFA and many more. The college says they give 100% percent placement but it also depends on the students whether they want to take it from college or find their own. My plan is getting a job in social media sector in any sports.

The fees which we are giving is 234620 for each year (total 3 yrs) and we are required to pay before the start of each year. Only in first year we paid half of 234620 in 2 instalments mainly in 1st sem and 2nd Sem respectively and from the next year we had to pay full. Scholarship are available but as i have not taken so i have no idea bout it. In recent years the fees are rising for new students like around 30-40k hike in fees structure.

This college organizes the india largest sports fest named Junoon which is held every year in November or in January (in case of any issues), it also has a intra college event named jeet where the college in divided into groups which compete in several games such as carrom chess bgmi fifa football cricket etc.

I have not applied for any other colleges honestly this was only my first preference in college. In order to get admission in this college you should first gove a online test named SMAT from their website and if you pass you will be given a topic to submit an essay to them and from there they will shortlist the student who are eligible for the next round of interviews with the faculties. The student need to pass both 10 & 12 b4 applying with min 60% percentage.

The number of faculties are ofc less in comparison to the students but the faculties here are really nice and appreciative. They are easy approachable by the students. The name of few faculties are Numara khan, manali patil and malini jain are few of the best professor in the college. The exams are kinda easy the internals are easy and the externals are somewhat easy but easly manageable to pull off the exams with good scores

There is a small library on the 5th floor and 2 great cafeteria in 2nd and 3rd floor respectively. There is no hostel provided from the college. The 3rd floor cafe is the only most hangout place in the colleges
