About college

College is still developing and increasing its placement. But college doesn't have a big canteen it's very small just like a shop.

The first-year course is common for all branches. In the first year of engineering, u have to be prepared for physics, chemistry, engineering drawing, mechanics, maths, one program language, EEE, etc. The first exam will be held on last week of September called a mid-semester exam consisting of 30 marks of 50% syllabus. 10 marks are given as internal which consists of assignments, attendance, test. And ESE exam will of 60 marks. This pattern will help the student to work throughout the day and focus on the best.

The placement of the college is quite low as per my knowledge. Since college has got the autonomous status very a few years back, college is working to increase the placement. A company like TCS came to hire the students but one thing u all should remember now 80% of company don't like to visit college they just have an online aptitude test that u have to qualify. So improve your skills, logic, communication.

When u entered the college as a new student first u will get the freshers party from the senior which u will enjoy the most. During the month of October, there is "Abhiyakti* where u can perform ur skills u have. Technovision is organized by the college to introduced the new technology in the market. During February, Shivaji Jayanti is celebrated by taking a big rally. It is one of the best events. Sports are also organized during March. And many more events are there which u will enjoy when u will be here.

The fee structure for the first year for the open category is almost 83000. OBC-43000 Sc/ST-3000. If u are getting hostel u have to pay 8400 for the hostel fees. Still, the mess is not opened in the hostel. But there are many outside mess who provide tasty food with 1800rs per month. Other living expenses is up to you.

OBC Category gets the scholarship of almost 14000. SC category gets scholarships of great amount. For open category, u would get Sahu Maharaj scholarship up to 20000.

Campus life is very interesting and enjoy the fun. You will enjoy here since the area of the college is very big. You will get the chance to visit various events organized in a different college. There is quiz competition. Sports are held for almost 15 days and are the best place to enjoy.

Senior students are very helpful as they are very cooperative with us. If u have any types of problems u can share with them they will surely find the solution. Any problem regarding college u can share with the senior student. Surely they will help u out.

I got admission in this college by cap round procedure. First, in CAP 1, I got college in yavatmal, I didn't freeze I wait for the next Cap round and in the third cap round I got the allotment in GCOEJ and I went to visit the college on 20 July and see the college and asked for the document verification. After all, done I got admission.

The faculty of our college is quite nice and cooperative. But in the first year, all the faculty are common for all branches since everyone has the same subject to study so in the first year it's quite difficult to manage all those practicals. One thing u can do is u can ask the doubt surely they will help u. After first year faulty is very auspicious for everyone.
