BIT MESRA : Dream of many students

this course conatins a mixture of both mechanical engineering and management the curriculum is very well prepared there are some areas which can be improved in areas like syllabus exams are taken almost every month twice and thrice the difficulty of quiz is easy to moderate and the difficulty of mid sems are moderate but the difficulty of end sem is also easy to moderate...

there are many companies which offer internship some of them are on campus and most of them ar eoff campus.. some of them are tata steel , devtown , deloitte , zs associates , bain and company , urban conpany , daily objects and many more there are many projects for electronics , cse and eee students some of them are cyber security and blockchain , data structures and algorithms

from 7th sem students gets eligible for the placement.. the companies are isro , larsen and turbo , jaypee , adani , itc trebeni , avtec , acc , bharti infratel , blue star , ntpc , crompton , cummins and many other companies the placement percentage is around 61% in production and in cse the 75%,, my plans are doing job after the placement is to accumulate capital for few years and after that i want to start my own business..

the year wise fees is around 4.5 lakhs per year including mess hostel and academic fees... .The caution fees is around 25k which will get refunded after the completion of course and 5k is the caution money of mess.... development fee of first and second sem combined is 18k lab fees separately is not mentioned in the receipt the fees for every category is same for general , obc , sc and st . the fee difference is there for NRI and J&K migrants... .scholarships are availaible for obc,sc,st and kashmiri migrants... there are many scholarship options like e-kalyan, national scholarship program, gp birla scholarship and few others... gp birla scholarship is a merit based scholarship which has a eligibility criteria and after applying a merit list is published... e-kalyan is for obc , sc and st which has a eligibility criteria that the student is a resident of jharkhand and the income should be less than 1.5 lakhs.... for J&K migrants government provides scholarship and the student has to pay around 1/4 of the fees....

some of the major annual fests are bitotsav and pantheon in october pantheon is held and in february bitotsav is held... Almost every possible books are there in the library and question banks are also availaible in the library... in classroom projector facility is availaible for students for the display of presentations.. there are many sports facilities for the students in bit mesra there is a separate sports complex for the student in which there is a separate football ground, cricket ground , kho-kho separate indoor and badminton courts basketball courts are also there there are two gyms in the complex and and a gymansium for the gymnastics.. there are many clubs for each every ineterest of the student there are clubs for consulting, enterprenurship , finance , sports and almost every interest,,

the facilities provided in the room are quite decent almost every time electricity is present... wi-fi facility is there.. the quality of mess food is average and the same menu is there for one month every month the menu changes... the registration process is done online through erp portal the hostel and mess price is quite affordable.. i donot reside in any type of pg..

i applied to vellore institute of technology and wbjee and comedk i chose this college because of the placemnet scenario and it was in my hometown.. i got accepted in all of the colleges i applied for.. to get admission in bit mesra we can admission through jee mains marks through jossa , csab and special round option is also there.. the cutoff of production is around 83 percentile and cse is around 97-98 percentile in jee mains.. the overall experience in bit mesra was very well

The faculty to student ratio is well enough... in the first year combined classes are held thats why the student to teacher ratio is around 120:1... but the student to teacher ratio is good with some teachers some teachers are very good and very few of them are not friendly but almost all of them are very helpful.. one of the best faculties are there in mathematics department.. there are almost no faculty which i dont like... the exam pattern for theory subject is like two quizes are held quiz1 and quiz2 mid term exams and then final term exams are held and few marks are there for assignment.... for lab subjects 2 lab quizes are taken and then performance test is taken and viva is also taken and also a very large weightage holds for the notebook of lab subject... the course are somewhat relevant and some of them irrelevant..

there is a very beautiful space in frot of every hostel for hanging out.. for late night activities and table tennis option is also there for students there is a separate room for table tennis after a hectic day of class students come and take rest in their rooms gym is there in sports complex for boys and for girls it is in their respective hostels. the opening time of library is 9am and the closing time is 9pm.. there is no hostel in and out time for boys but for girls the in time is 9pm.. the famous hangout places are ic arena... outside the college there are jonha falls , nucleus mall
