Course Curriculum Overview

3

The Course Curriculum is vast but often feels disconnected from industry demands, focusing more on theory than practical skiils. while fundamental topics are covered, specialized , real - world knowledge is limited. exams are held twice per semester but lack transparency, with many students facing unexpected backlogs.

Placement Experience

3

The collages offers campus placements starting from the 7th semesters. Several reputed companies visit the campus, through the number of offers made is relatively low compared to top-tier institutions. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro have visited, with an average of 15-20 offers per company. The heigest package offered was INR 6-7 LPA, with an average package of INR 3-4 LPA. Around 50-60% of students get placed each year, but the competition is tough, and many students seek oppourtunities off-campus if placements are limited. As for my plans, I aim to explore job opportunities in tech or software devlopment, and if necessary, pursue further studies or certifications to enhance my skill set and employability.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee for my college vary based on category and includes tution , Caution , registration, admission , development, lab, and other compulsory charges. for the General for Caution, rs.5k for Registration, rs.15k for Admission, additional, several Scholarships and Financial aod options are available. The Merit-cum-Need Scholarship provides rs 50k/year for student with family income below rs. 40k and a CGPA of 7.5 aor above , The Satate Government Scholarships offer between 20k to 70k annually.

Campus Life

4

Campus life has been engaging , with major festivsl like techXplore in september and cultural vibe in December. The Library offers a decent range of books and online resources, through access to the latest journals is limited.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel provides basic facilities with a bed, study table, and cupboard room with attached bathroom and two time of water supply. also warden was friendly and cooperative in nature. Often students faces drinking water shortage in Hostel.

Admission

i choose this college for it's modaerate fees and decent reputation, thriugh it didn't offer as many industries relevant course compare to others i applied to. The admition process was straightforword, based on entrance exams like JEE main, with cutoff scores being average. Some other colleges had heigher cutoffs, which I didn't meet.

Faculty

3

In my college, only a few faculty memebers hold PhD degree or having significant industrial Knowledge, which some times limits the quality of instruction. While some professors are helpful and Beautiful too ????????. there are evident shortage of specialized subject teachers, leading to gaps in certain courses. this is particularly challenging for student looking to gain experties in nich. The course structure is vast and covers a broad of topicss, but it feels outdated and disconnected from current industry demands. The exam system is unpredictable, with results that often feel arbitrary. it's not uncommon students to receive unexpected backlogs despite feelinf confident about their performance. after paying a re-eveluation fee. some student find their grades suddenly improved (if you know you know ????).

Interview Experience

3

Yeah! There was a formality. They asked how much you have secured in your 12th and OJEE. Based on that they try to suggest or manipulate to take non CSE branch like EACE or other branch. They also do fake promises during admissions time.

Night Life

3

Nightlife around campus is quite, with the Gym, library, and cafeteria closing by 9PM. Hostels have a curfew around 10:30 PM, but Students gather in common area or head to nearby cafes, popular spots incluinclude the cafeteria and local eaeries.

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
