- The girls-to-boys ratio could be more balanced as boys tend to outnumber girls, which affects group dynamics in some classes and activities.
- While facilities are good they can sometimes get overcrowded, especially during peak hours.
- the infrastructure and amenities come at high cost, and fees increase slightly every year. combined with living expenses on campus , it can become quite pricey for students without scholarships.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is industry with areas like AI and software development. More hands-on projects and interactive teaching methods could improve real-world readiness. Exams are fair , but require consistent prep.
Internships Opportunities
LPU offers internships with companies like Amazon , TCS and Wipro in roles like Software Development Intern and Data Analyst Intern Stipends range from 5,000 and 20,000. Projects include working on software applications , market research and data analysis leading to real world experience.
Placement Experience
LPU offers strong placements starting from the 6th sem. Top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, TCS and infosys visit with high packages around 30-40 LPA. The average is 5-7 LPA. Around 8% students get placed. After graduation, I plan to pursure freelancing and further career growth.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure yearly 1st year: Tuition Fees -12,80,000, Registration- 2000 Exam fees- 9000 2nd year: Tuition fees - 2,80,000 Same for next 2 so the whole fees must be 11,20,000/- Scholorships are based on the 1) LPU NEST upto 90% scholorship 2) Merit Based on 12th or JEE percentage. 3) Special Category for defence personnel minority , single girl child etc upto 20% off
Campus Life
Campus life at LPU is vibrant with events like Youth Vibe and Tech Fest. The library has a wide range of books and journals. Classrooms are tech equipped. Sports and extracurricular are diverse and clubs like DSO enhance social interaction and creativity
Hostel Facilities
LPU hostels rooms are well equipped with beds study tables AC wifi and 24/7 water. Meals are decent with a varied menu . The registration process is straightforward and fees are affordable.For rented accommodation people opted for the PGs nearby in a safe loaclity offering similar amentities.
Admission
I choose LPU for its strong curriculum excellent placement opportunitties and modern infrastructure. It offered scholarship and a robust industry connection. i applied to MIT Pune and Amity but choose LPU due to better financial aid and career support. The admission process via LPU NEST was smooth and efficient.
Faculty
It has approacable faculty especially skilled in technical fields though some focus too heavily on theory the curriculum is industry-aligned. Exams are fair, with marks rounded up. More hands on learning is suggested
Night Life
LPU campus has a lively atmosphere even at night with hotels open 24/7. the gym cafeteria and library close around 10PM. Popular hangout include Food courts and canteens offering late night snacks. the locality.The locality is safe for students to roam making it ideal for unwinding after classes.
