Likes

Lectures are more interactive & fun the lecturer always makes an habit to make us ask questions so that the lecture is more interactive
The events we get to attend from our college & get paid for the same
the amount of exposure & work experience we get while attending the live events

Dislikes

the attendance is very strict, if 50% of the students are not in the same event they won’t give attendance to any student even though we are attending the event via college
During roll call if by any chance we miss because sometimes the maam is very fast they mark us absent for being “mentally absent during roll call”

Course Curriculum Overview

The most intriguing part of the curriculum is how the lectures make a topic very interesting & debatable within students & professors, we get to learn facts & insiders about lots of industries & brands because most of the faculty members are working full time in the same industry so they have better experience to teach

Class Size: 96Course Fees: INR 82000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The current course im pursuing is only for one year the total fee for the whole course is 82,000 plus some taxes and i took 4 instalments and paid all the instalments on time, no there are no scholarships that i took, people who took late admission in the second batch had of the admission round had to pay an additional fee which was of total 92000 due to financial year

Campus Life

well it's only been few months but we together as a batch curated our own diwali event which gave us an exposure to real life events and how to tackle & handle each & every situation we get in front of us without seeking help from others

Admission

I didn't apply to any other college because this college was easy for me to travel to and the fees was reasonable than the other colleges, i never applied for any other diploma colleges except ISM and im liking my decision so far

Faculty

Very friendly & understanding faculty members. i really like our course & subject coordinator jeshma maam very sweet and attentive towards their students, in total two exams and they are pretty easy, the course curriculum is very relevant and the results are also satisfactory

Night Life

Our lectures happen in the late evening so the campus & area around is pretty lively at that time but even if it's not then too its very safe for you to travel to your place easily as the station is very nearby

MY EXPERIENCE AT INDIAN SCHOOL OF MEDIA

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement after 2nd semester examination. Indian School of Media have tie-ups with top 209+ companies in the media space and they provide students internships and placements in one of these companies. Companies like DNA Entertainment, Yash Raj Films, BALAJI Telefilms etc. My plan after graduation is to work for a digital marketing company.

From the end of your second semester campus placements take place. The college has tie-ups with the top 209 companies in the media space which include Ogilvy, Yshraj Fils, Quotient Communications, Victor Tango, Balaji Telefilms, Cogmat etc. The college also provides 100% placement assistance to every student. The college was also rewarded as the institute with the best placements during the pandemic as it had managed to place all the students.

Remarks:

ISBM is one of the best private B-Schools in India and also ranked 8th among the 20 West B Schools and 9th rank in Top Private Institutes. The institute is well-known and the program that I wanted to pursue was only one-year long here, all the good aspects such as impressive placements, rigorous curriculum, easily approachable and distinguished faculty members, student-driven campus, etc encouraged me to apply for this institute. For the application process, I had to pay an amount of INR 700 while submitting my application form through the official website of the college.

The college of practical thinker

Remarks:

Being a fully residential campus there is complete focus on all aspects of student life, like and games, gymnasium, entrepreneurial activities, social events, and recreation. The learning environment is quite motivating and also relaxing. Classrooms, as well as the living accommodations, are also excellent.

The admission process was carried out in both offine as well as online mode. I took my admission in offline mode, so I had to go to the college and fill the form and pay my fees.
