Course Curriculum Overview
The cirriculum is more practical as well as theoretical, focusing on hands-on event experience since day 1. lectures by industry professionals enhance learning, making it, industry relevant for the students.
Internships Opportunities
Companies are as follow Nyka events, Shaadi Squad etc with stipend starting from Rs 5000/- to Rs 18000/- per month and roles offered Digital Marketing Intern, Video Editor, Public Relations Intern, Event Management Intern and many more.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placement after 2nd semester examination. Indian School of Media have tie-ups with top 209+ companies in the media space and they provide students internships and placements in one of these companies. Companies like DNA Entertainment, Yash Raj Films, BALAJI Telefilms etc. My plan after graduation is to work for a digital marketing company.
Fees and Financial Aid
I enrolled in the Post Graduate Diploma In Media and Event Management at Indian School of Media, Mumbai, and paid a total of Rs 94,400/- ( including taxes) for complete one-year course. This amount was paid in 4 installments as per the institute's payment structure.
Campus Life
They have Ice-Breaker session before the academic year starts to make students comfortable with each other, and the diwali event which was entirely organized and executed by the students themselves it was really fun we had the best time.
Admission
I didn't apply to other colleges before enrolling in Indian School of Media because they provide students all the big evnets happening in Mumbai and in the country and the chance to learn directly from Industry stalwarts.
Faculty
They have Industry stalwarts as faculty members.You will get the first hand knowledge and you learn about current industry trends which is the need of the hour. There are interactive sessions with the faculty members. There is one exam per semester and they are quite easy
Night Life
The locality is safe at all times as it's a residential area. The campus includes football turf and basketball court which is opened till 10pm. Mahim beach is nearby and the college is located close to Mahim's St. Michael's Church.
