Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is what i pove. I chose this college so that i will have a easier semeter exams to handle as my main goal is GATE, ESE and PSUs. The curriculus prepares for real worl implementation very well. If the kabs were a bit better, it would have been even better. Teaching methods amd curriculum is great. Only laboratories have room for improvement. Exams happen at normal times like 3 months after course starts, midsem happens amd at last endsem. The papers are very easy.

Internships Opportunities

2

Tcs, tata group, etc have given imtership. I have less idea about this as im in 2nd year and i will get intership in 3rd amd 4th years. The stipend is mostly 10 to 15 thousand a month and lasts for a month. Projects is compulsory for last 3 semesters amd has grade points on its completition.

Placement Experience

1

7th sem students are eligible for placement in btech. Tata, tcs etc have came for placements. Highest package told to us in 33 lpa ctc that too in mba if i remeber correctly amd average is 6 lpa. For my course, there are no people in 3rd amd 4th year, so no idea for btech ECE. 25 percents is what i have been told are getting placements. I am preparing for gate, ese amd psus so i dont want placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

93000 per sem was for forst year. Then there is a 5 percent increment every year. Im in 2md year so it 95000 per sem right now. If you get 75 percent and above in 12th boards, you get 25 percent scholarship. If 85 percent or more that 50 per ent scholarship amd if 93 percent or more then 100 percent scholarship. To continue the scholarship you have to maintain minimum cgpa and rank in your programme.

Campus Life

4

Technicia and aminove are the big fests. Usually held in april every year. The library is comparatively small but had sufficent academic books which can be issues. Projectors are given along with mic system in every class. Normal whiteboard. Normal sports are accessible. Badminton, volleyball, basketball and football grounds are there. Ncc and nss is also here. Many clubs like photography, astro etc are run. It helps student build more knowledge amd improves social skills

Admission

I applied for colleges under MHTCET exam amd i got 96.78 percentile in mhtcet which made me eligible for some good colleges. But the thing is those college will be much more strictier than amity and i get 10 cgpa here which is actually hard in mumbai university colleges. I get 1p cgpa very easily with low efforts. I took admission here as i got 50 percent scholarship which is 93000 per annum of fees which is still lower than my other options. Apart from that this college is closer to my home so my travelling is a bit easier. I didnt get rejected anywhere as i applied in colleges where i am eleigible . Admission is fairly easy. One can pay the fees online. Then dicument verification is done on the orientation day after which process is completed. It accept cuet and normal board exams resukts. The admission experience was very straightforward amd simple.

Faculty

4

The faculty scene for Ece is very bad as we were alloted with facukty very late. The ones we are alloted with are helping us enough so that we can easily do well in exams. Maths, spanish, css, bs workshop, Electronic devices and circuits, electronics instrumentation, circuit theory amd networks amd industrial safety are my subjects. Overall, faculties are okay some are good amd some are really good. I liked dipak sir and khushali mam a lot. I hate no faculty at all. The exams are as normal, 1 mid sem amd 1 endsem. Mid sems are for 30 marks which is ratioed to 15. 5 marks for attendance, 10 marks for assignments and all these add uoto 30 marks internal. Endsem is of 70 marks. Endsems are easy. Only comes from the classes. The curriculum of the course is well designed covering everything. Labs are not good which affects the learninv

Night Life

4

I am not a hosteller but i know certains things. The cafeteria runs till 930. But there is a night cafeteria option that runs till 2 am. Hostellers curfew is at 9pm amd they can leave campus after taking permission from wardens. Library is open till 6 i guess. Mrc cafeteria amd fast food, dosa plaza, amma sai are main cafeterias amd hangout places.

Other Applied Colleges

Dwarkadas J Sanghvi College of Engineering - [DJSCE] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Electronics & Telecom Engineering)

Amity mumbai was my priority as it is a full fledged university and i get very lenient emvironment for studies amd i can hence prepare for gate without worrying about semesters.

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.
