Course Curriculum Overview
I'm studying biotechnology and the course provides good insights into the subject. It has different subjects like microbiology, cell, biology, bio processes, et cetera, et cetera, and they also teach a lot about it subject so that you gain a lot of knowledge on it too. There's a lot of internship opportunities and also a lot of echo curricular activities and workshops which you can actively participate and will increase your CV to.
Internships Opportunities
Since a lot of faculties here in this university have a lot of tieups with different institutions around the world. They can send you for internships during the third year or a seventh semester. You can also apply for internships on your own after getting permission from your respective faculty and getting the bona fide certificate.
Placement Experience
The placements provided in my specific course in SRM university is also decent. Your average salary can range from 50,000 per month to around 1 to 1,.1 lakhs per month. This can this can range from both by technology and also IT services.
Fees and Financial Aid
The normal fees in a btech degree att SRM university after writing the entrance exam will be 2.5 lakhs per year. A management seat will cost 1 lakh more which will be 3.5 lakhs per year or 14 lakhs in total. Scholarship will be provided based on merit and the marks you get in each year. Having a cgpa of 9 and higher will earn you a scholarship
Campus Life
My over Because not only focuses on your academic but also focus on a lot of curricular activities like sports, drama, debate and also NCC activities. There are a lot of clubs which you can join like drama, student affairs and there are a lot of cultural programmes too. the infrastructure provided here are one of the best in the country
Admission
I chose SRM University because it has a lot of good facilities and it is well renowned for the specific course I have chosen which is biotechnology. The faculties here are extremely helpful. You well qualified and with a lot of pH with lot of PhDs and the amount of experience you gain from working under these faculties immense.
Faculty
The college is knows for its impeccable reputation on the facilities it provides and also its robust examination system. The faculties are well trained and also contributed a lot to the society in their field. BTech is a 4 year course with 8 semester. The internals will carry 60 marks and the externals or the sem exams will carry 40 marks. So, it's important to focus on the internals. The grading system is from O, A+, A, B+, B, C and F.
Night Life
Since the campus is located in the outskirts of the city, Chennai and describe the night life around this campus is not that great as you have to travel at least one hour to get to the city. The places nearby or basic restaurants like KFC McDonald's and Burger King, but anything fun to do, you have to travel to the city.
