A positive thing about the college is good atmosphere is available for the study and the negative one is that there is no smart classroom available in this college.

BA(History)(H) is an honors graduation degree of 3 years duration with a specialization in History from ancient times to medieval to modern history. There will be an annual college exam, then you will have to apply for the university-level exam by filling a form. University conducts a yearly exam in UG courses in three years. Exams that are conducted very smoothly by the university. Thousand of students passed from this university every year.

Vidyarambham, Sangrahalay Divas, Women's Day, Independence Day etc are celebrated along with these events and Days there are also seminars and workshops organized on different topics from time to time for the skill development of the students. Many annual sports and Sanskritik also occurs.

A very very affordable fee structure for everyone. All are good usually the college has the fee structure of around rupees 1000-1500 per year which varies according to the courses or streams.

Scholarship facility is provided by the college in the form of many scholarship schemes run by the Indian government and the state government and other semi-government and private foundations.

The college has a procedure of offline admission in which I vissted to the college and filled the form duly and submitted it after signing it, after the publication of merit list, I appeared for the counseling on the given date and got the admission. The admission date for Honours subjects is generally published in the University of Burdwan website and Suri Vidyasagar College website for the General course before the admission process starts.

Good and experienced faculty are present there in the college who are provided through university and state board. The faculty members are well qualified and supportive.
