College life of KJC

The course that I have chosen gives a good scope in the real world and really prepares us well with the lab practicals. Honestly the course teaching could be improved with changing the black board to a interactive learning panel. Exams usually only come twice in a semester and the difficulty depends on how much you understand in the class, an average student can easily pass the exams without studying.

In KJC I pay a sum of approximately 2,40,000 ruppees which is approximately 85,000 ruppees per year including my exam fees that is of 2,800 ruppees per semester. There are a variety of scholarships available for certain underprivileged or people that can't afford much.

We have a lot of events and fests that are fun and some are mostly only festivals. The library contains a lot of books and journals that are required for a student to learn. There are a lot of clubs to participate in and there might be a few students run clubs.

I had applied to Christ University and Joseph's University for my undergraduate course and had settled with this college because of the reduced fees and the distance for me to cover. I didn't get reversed by other colleges but choose to decline the admission. I'm order to be eligible one would need a percentage of 60 per cent passing marks and there is no need for competitive exams for my course.

The faculty members are really good and there are only a few that are not likeable but which college has all good teachers there are 4 exams per year and two in one semester that are the mid semester exam and the end semester exam.

There are a few cafes and restaurants nearby and on the main road and hostels close the gates at 10 30 maximum. In college the famous places to hang out are the cafeterias and it is safe to roam outside the college in the night
