I like that it isn't compulsory to attend college regularly, you just have to go once or twice in 10 days to keep up with the course

Dislikes

The college location is very crowded and a very small street

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to choose commerce after 10th but I did my 11th and 12th from science stream just to keep my options open, but after 12th I opted to go for Chartered Accountant course, and at the same time I took admission in this college to pursue bcom as a backup. I Left CA course and now I am pursuing CS.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees I paid was around 8000-10000 , but since I belong to the OBC category, i took the reservation scholarship from the Mahadbt website and had to pay around 1500 if i remember correctly. The SC/ST category students are offered free education in this college. In the scholarship, hostel aid is also included.

Campus Life

There are no student run social groups, clubs etc to impact the student's life, As I mentioned, the campus of the college is located on a very busy and a very small road, so no sports activities as well. Industrial visits are arranged time to time though.

Admission

This college was a Saviour for me, as I was late for admissions due to some reasons. No other college was ready to take a last minute admission but atlanta college came to my savious and hence I chose this college

Faculty

The faculties are good, one can easily understand the methods of the faculties and is easy to comprehend as well, they are willing to understand the student's problems and try their best to solve it. There are around 8-10 faculty members in the college.

Night Life

The college campus is located in a busy Sadar area, the area is very crowded. The area is well connected to all parts of nagpur, There are a lot cafeterias around that area. There is no hostel service from the college but one can get a private hostel/room easily around the college.

TCSC is tremendous!

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
