Course Curriculum Overview
Law studies are like doing a service to the nation. My goal is to do judiciary exams and for that our curriculum is adept. A lot of students are preparing for that at our university and we all are seriously studying that too. So, a more of corporate of included, i would rate my college higher than national law universities.
Placement Experience
Currently a few corporates like the Adani Power, Coal India and other power and mining companies are the ones that comes for placements. My plan though is to prepare for judicial exams and I will be giving that after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
With an annual fees of just 45000 for University Law College, Bhubaneswar which is affiliated to one of the top universities named Utkal University, it is seriously very less. For students who are my batch mate and comes under category has to be pay of fees of mere 12000.
Campus Life
Lexcellence is our cultural fest and freshers is our year starting fest. In between nearly 20 fests are held and students are free to participate. The campus is huge however most of it under utilised. We have a moot court and a Biju Patnaik Sports Complex with almost all the sporting facilities is there at the campus.
Admission
NLU's are my first choice and NALSAR definitely. Dur to reserved system, even after a rank of 7800, i couldn't find myself a seat. Then I decided I will not leave Bhubaneswar and there were just two options KIIT among private and ours in government. Ours is better so I took admission here and just out 12th marks were considered for admission here.
Faculty
Law faculties are like the study experts as they know what and how to teach. Judiciary is the theme of my favourite professor Mr. Aakash Patra as he teaches the importance of judiciary as our country needs more judges today and not just the lawyers.
Night Life
Regional Museum of Natural History and Regional Science Centre are nearby our college. For our food cravings we go to 9th Street as it is like one of the best themed restaurant and I and my friends keep going there every week.
