Likes
- Small compact campus adept for fun like walk in the park and play some sports as well.
- Our main ground always have some of the other events going on as not just festivals but even on normal days and event can be organized without a prior intimation.
- Personal development is the key here as that is something that college make sure that students get this as lawyers have to be smart and should have good communication skills.
Dislikes
- The girls hostel is inside the campus but boys hostel is off campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
I think it was my seniors in school who did law and some of them were in XIM University. They only suggested me to get this course done and that too from UTKAL University as they also used to refer our material.
Placement Experience
One can't expect a paycheck of over 20 lakhs as that's the highest a few students have bagged from our college. In general though only 5-6 lakhs is what to most students and 8 out every 10 student here do get a job for sure.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of Utkal University's for all the courses is lower and for law it looks like th cheapest. 7400 for every year is what we have to pay and I am happy that fees is so less as I couldn't have afforded a private college charging lakhs of rupees every year anyways would have been beyond my capacity.
Campus Life
For moot to annual fest and also the sports fest are celebrated. We have an annual Futsal event as that's like bread and butter of our college. Kho Kho is another one and above all it's the central library as we have case residings of not just too cases from India but from US and Europe too.
Hostel Facilities
Boys hostel is off campus but not so far. Like 10-12 mins walking and we reacht the college. Our meals are good and breakfast, lunch and dinner like all three at just 6600 a sem and plus yearly rental is just 30k for sharing the room with three.
Admission
Admission on 12th score as there's no other way out that one can get admission in UTKAL University sd just 120 Seats for BA LLB and therefore merit is the only way. Cut off for general students in general is between 85-90 and for reserved it's 70-75.
Faculty
Ours is a pure law college and we are like 600 students and for that there are 45-50 odd teachers. So 2 teacher per 7-8 students. The passing percentage is legit over 90 as difficulty level is indeed low.
Night Life
From gardens to museums to parks we have everything close to the college. Our college is actually a home to street food vendors and tea stalls. So Boko Tea is my personal favourite as tea and khari biscuit from there is next level.
