Better than rest but,has a potential to be the best

Best Infrastructure but Poor Governance!!!.We have best facilities for studying including Wi-Fi,Hostels,Cyber Library,Computer Library,Canteens,Free transport,Free medical Facilities,Gym,Swimming pools,Stadiums etc.But,everything has been Spoiled due to lack of governance.A efficient system of internal controls is mandatory for interest of the students.

My Course is being run as per recommendation of DEVI,but truly speaking our syllabus is outdated,and poor quality of teaching has put us into pathetic Condition.However,thanks to YouTube,that helps us a lot.Exams are Conducted after every 6 months(Semester Exams).

Yes, Placements are available,but never even expect of more than 4 lacs. Annual from our Faculty.We are not provided with Internship,but you will definitely be getting one,if you try with little bit patience.Name of Collages is enough to provide you with internships,however majority of them will be non-paying.

Spandhan(Annual fest) is there,in which all Faculty,Departments,Institutes, Collages and RGSC south campus Compete with one another.It comprises of a large no. Of competitions of various types.Apart from this Krisnastami and Saraswati Looks is celebrated in each hostel.Durga Pooja is also celebrated in Madhuban Park.Apart from these a no. Of events,particularly sports Competitions are Conducted on a regular basis.

Fees at Banaras Hindu University is very affordable and it is one of the biggest reasons that a large no. Of poor students wants to grab a seat in this University.Whether you get a hostel or not.Your average expense including fees must not go above INR 8000.(If you have a middle class family lifestyle).

Yes,BHU runs different kind of Scholarship Schemes.Apart from this Central and State government are also providing Scholarships.However,I had never applied for any,so I am not having any idea in that reference.

It's a heaven for those who are into sports.You will be having a no. Of grounds and no. Of indoor and outdoor auditoriums,with all proper amenities and a coach too.There is also a free Gymkhana for students.

Alumni network is quite good of other Faculties particularly IIT,IMS,FMS etc.As far as our faculty is concerned,we are not having any alumni association right now,and I don't see any chances of its formation in few upcoming Years.

Most of Senior Professors are kind and remain active in fulfilling their duty towards Students,Companies,Alumini e.t.c. Contrary to them,we have young generations teachers,where most of them,don't care for students.Most of newly recruited Professors remain busy in their gossips and only care for their salaries and WhatsApp massages.Althogh,complaints to Dean has been effective in few cases,but their attitude towards their profession is not good at all
