Remarks

Everything have its positive and negative images so our college have it too. There is alot of students in our class almost 500 students in just one classroom it takes time to adjust yourself in that classroom

I don't have any opinion regarding this because i just want to became graduate with bcom so i chosen this course. Semester wise exams are held in our college which means every year you have to give 2 semester exams and 2 mid sem exams

Actually i doesn't know more about this beacuse i does not join for placement and job as i am pursuing CA i just wanted a graduate degree so i joined this college but i show posters inside the campus for placements i don't have genuine information regarding this

College Events

When i joined then first event i am attended in my college was freshers party then , then there was a lot of events going on but i don't have time to attend those events because i have to focus on my studies

Fee Structure And Facilities

Actually our college is very cheap beacuse it is autonomous college i took admissions only for 1800 for whole year then i have to pay for 2 semester exams rs 500 approx which means i paying only 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There was alots of scholarships programs but i dont having any information regarding this because already the fee structure of this college is very low so i thought its not good to apply for scholarships

Campus Life

Our college won intercollege basketball tournament this year and almost all types if sports are played by the students, college have its own library and everything is good as our college performance is good in every field

Hostel Facilities

No college doesn't have its own hostel you have to find pgs and private hostels which is easily available near the college so i am able to find pg near the college which is only 600m-800m away from the college

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Everybody is helpful specially seniors they always ready to help junior just you have to askh for help some of the teachers are too much supporting but some of them are very aggressive you have to think twice to argue with them

Faculty

Some of them are good and some of them came for their attendance. Faculty for accounts he came daily and also he is a good teacher, faculty for economics and law is also good but eng and hindi teachers are just for timepass

Great campus life in Jamshedpur

I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . The exams timings was not much good, It has to be improved, the 1 st sem exam was held after 1 year of admission and afterthat next sem was taken earlier.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

I choose this university because it has best faculty for my subject and it is very close to my House also and they have very familiar environment and teachers are very friendly and they have a very good environment for learning new things and its good experience That way, you can show that you made a deliberate and informed choice (and didn't just flip a coin).
