Remarks

Commoditization can make higher education far more accessible for non-traditional students, but given the competition beginning to characterize the marketplace, it is becoming more difficult for students to determine which programs are right for them.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Like many students at university, you may be unhappy about the results you attain in exams. You may feel that even with all you are doing there must be something more -- or different-- you could be doing to get better grades. We have all at some time or other heard of that student who only studies a couple of hours for final exams and scores A's every time. We stand in awe of those who seem to breeze through without undue effort and seem to need very little in the way of studying to nail an exam.

Placement Experience

2

One of the best ways to improve your chances of finding employment after graduation is to participate in an internship during your school years. You can gain hands-on experience in your chosen field, significantly increase your networking contacts, and learn how corporate cultures, environments, and structures work. However, it’s also important that you put in the effort to find the right internship for you.

College Events

3

On-campus events play an important role in shaping the social and intellectual fabric of your university’s campus. But if you want to draw a crowd, you’ll need to look beyond lectures, study groups, and job fairs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

One feels the fee structure is a bit high. But it's quite reasonable as compared to the other B-school. The only good thing is that IIBS has good placement assistance. IIBS has good ROI. My overall expenditure was around 6 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

college-bound students have the financial resources to pay for their post-secondary education entirely out of pocket. Even students with substantial college savings plans typically find that they are left with sizable amounts of unmet need. The average total cost of attending a public four-year college is more than $20,000 per academic year. Students planning to attend a private college or university can expect to spend more than $30,000 per academic year. A college education is a costly proposition, and all indications are that those costs are only going to increase.

Campus Life

4

If you’ve ever applied to a job you’ve probably heard of the phrase “extracurricular activities” as something you should include on your resume. The question is, what do extracurricular activities mean and why are they important? Here’s a little secret: extracurricular activities are simply any activity you do outside of your school work. Easy enough, right

Alumni/Alumna

Creating an engaged, supportive alumni network is crucial to an institution’s success. If communication stops once graduates leave an institution, their understanding of the university will become stale. Instead, they should be kept informed so they can remain engaged and keep abreast on the progress of the university.

Faculty

3

You have chosen to teach in higher education because you are a subject-matter specialist with a tremendous knowledge of your discipline. As you enter or continue your career, there is another field of knowledge you need to know: teaching and learning. What we know about teaching and learning continues to grow dramatically. It includes developing effective instructional strategies, reaching today’s students, and teaching with technology. Where is this knowledge base? Books, articles in pedagogical periodicals, newsletters, conferences, and online resources provide ample help. Take advantage of your institution’s center for teaching and learning or other professional development resources.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.
