Course Curriculum Overview

2

The course isn't that relative to real life experience, the main reason for me to choose this course is due to the leniency to the students who are pursuing ACCA as I'm doing the same. The course has to be updated in terms of syllabus and subjects as it's really old school and many concepts aren't even relevant in real life.

Fees and Financial Aid

My current fee is around 11000 per year as I am pursuing bachelors in commerce but in courses such as business management studies (BMS) the fees r slightly higher around 20000 per year. The total fees for the entire course comes around 30000 to 40000 . For NRI students the fees are 4x the fees compared to the general category students . During registration it's necessary for NRI's to pay 100000 as registration as this is a compulsory process for them . For NRI's the yearly fee is 40K and in BMS it is 80k

Campus Life

2

The campus life isn't that great as there are not many activities that take place as it is really small when compared to other colleges . There are a good amount of sports activities but in terms of clubs and other extra curricular activities the college is pretty backwards

Admission

I applied to various college like HR, jai hind, hinduja, KC but I chose burhani mainly due to less travelling time and leniency towards attendance . The admission process is pretty smooth and simple they provide u with a website in which u have to upload all ur documents and pay the fees .

Faculty

4

The faculty of our college is really nice . They are really helpful mainly during the exams. They are really approachable and u can be dependent on then for any doubt clearance. No such faculty who you wouldn't like in the college all contribute pretty equally. There are a total of 7 subjects in Bcom and only one examination takes place that is the end semester exams and projects and practicals for necessary subjects

Night Life

2

There are no hostels situated around the college as it's a pretty small one but it does have a few hangout spots near them as there are gardens cafes which are pretty fun to chill in after college classes

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
