First year should also be branch specific, in first year subject are same irrespective of branch , subject like maths , electrical , environments we have study in it department. From 2nd year onwards subject will be based on departments, the frequency and timings of exams are good , laptops should be allowed in subject like computer programming.

College offers good intership opportunities starting from 2nd year onwards. Companies like microsoft, Amazon , Flipkart , oracle visit the campus. Student who are eligible can apply for it and get inteships. For example some students got intern at Microsoft at a stipend of 1.25 lakh. Good knowledge of DSA and web development is needed to crack intership interview

average package of btech for btech is 10 lac and for tech tech branches average package stood at 13.5 lac . Companies like Google , Microsoft, filpkart , Amazon , oracle visit campus. Almost 50 students were offered package greater than 25 lac . 90 percent of the students were placed in last year, my plans is to get a decent on campus placement

Scholarship: Many scholarship for undergrads at nitj are available in the basis of family income and category and gender For example: PM YASASVI (for obc) Kotak Kanya scholarship (for girls) Airtel bharti scholarship (for family income less than 2.5 lac ) All Nsp scholarship ( for Sc / st student and all other category)

Campus Life is good , fests are conducted frequently, utkansh is nitj best cultural fest , techniti also held which is tech fest of nitj , all festival like diwali , janmastami, Ganesh chaturthi are celebrated within the campus. There are 2 two libraries in campus which contains about 1 lac books which can be issued by the students to study, other library have around 450.computers which can be used by students to study. All kinds of sports like cricket, football are available. A standard cricket, volleyball, basketball, badminton ground are available, there is also indoor badminton court. Vast varieties of clubs are available such as - Kalakar( dramatic club) Gdcs (coding club) Cybernauts(coding club) Criminal crew(dance club) SQC(quant computing) TCA ( team cultural affairs) Nitj music club Netra (photography club) And more clubs are there.

The hostel fee Is 60000 per year. There are 3 hostel for first student bh1 , bh2 ( 4 seater) and BH5 ( two seaters rooms) , bh1 and bh2 have comparatively good food quality , facilities than BH5 . Veg and non veg menus are available and changed every day. Room consists of 4 beds , three table , 4 almirah, 2 fans , 2 tubelight and other basic facilities are available. Hostel are alloted by online process.

This was best college and branch according for previous jossa ranking and placement opportunities , the college also suits my feasibility. Admission are carried out through jossa and csab councelling having 75% criteria, addmission process was very smooth and all the teachers were highly co operative

the factual to student ratio in 1:10 . Facilities are highly qualified like PhD from IIT or foreign universities Faculty to student relationship is good . Faculties are available in working hours . Personally I like simarjeet sir from IT department and Arun rathore sir electrical department and lalatedu behra from CSE department l. I like them because they teaches really well and are highly qualified In each sem there is 1 mid sem , 1 end sem and minimum 3 quizzes and for labs there is 1 final practical exam and end semester, countinous assesment are carried out throughout semester. Exams are at average level.

For first year students due to anti ragging community hostel timings are strict ( curfew after 7pm for hostel student) For 2nd year onwards no hostel timings is there. There is a very good gym inside having all the necessary equipment and machine. Library timings: all night during exam and 12 in the night. Night canteen, Nescafe , Domino's, snakers , are some of the favourite hangout spots . Campus is completely safe during night also.
