Remarks
The college is really good and I'd recommend any student to come in if they want an all round development. The yoga thing seems quite bad and childish and waste of time but it is for the benefit of our health.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is a very professional one. We aren't just given academic knowledge but we are also taught to apply it in real. We have regular field and industrial visits. National tour . And Value Added Program. Like Tally , Digital Marketing and Yoga. MIT-WPU being a UNICEF recognized for it's peace studies.
Placement Experience
The Placement of the College is decent. And It does provide internships to student. I'm a First year student so I haven't got it. We get internships from 2nd year. The college has placement cells and we can opt for internship in F.Y as well but it's recommended to be done from 2nd year. Internship is provided to students who score avg of 60% .
College Events
MIT-WPU celebrates many well-known events. The Bhartiya Chartra Sansad(BCS) , National Teacher Congress (NTC) was started by the founder of our college in which many eminent personalities like the prime minister of India. President Of India. Great economists , actors , politicians etc come to give their opinions.The University also host the World Peace Summit in which over 1000 of monks from all around the globe come under one tent and talk about peace and it's importance.One such Monk who came was Dalai Lama.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's quite expensive but worthwhile because u get a lot of added perks. Like national tours , visits , VAP etc which costs a lot of money outside. Every charges are already included in fee structure so it seems a bit expensive but when u look at the added perks it's not much.
Fees and Financial Aid
The College does provide scholarships to students and yes loan facility is provided by Axis bank or BOI. I have not opted for loan tho. New students who score good in 12th board get a relief in their fees. From 20% to 50%.
Campus Life
MIT-WPU is known for its extra curricular activities. The Robocon India is held by MIT. Many buddy races . Sports fiesta which is one the largest in Pune is held.labs are very well put and looks very professional.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel Facilities for girls are quite good. But same can not be said for the boys hostel. It's quite old and pretty far from our campus. Like 1.5 km from campus. It's quite cramped and the rooms a 3 sharing room, But looks quite pale and old.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are really helpful in our college. There is zero ragging in college as the whole college is filled with anti-ragging team and each and every student fills the anti-ragging form before entering in college.
Faculty
The faculty of college is what's the best about this college. They are really friendly and are always there to help us. We also have the concept of buddy faculty in which with main professor we have one extra professor in class who helps students if and when required.
