Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to be in film indusrty as thid course can help me with that and the college also offers the chance toget ahead in this industry and can make a person get the high post in this industry might be the best course

I have paid 72000 for the first sem it was 35000 and for the second sem it was 27000 and no tution fees or caution fees, admission, development, lab, and any other fee most of the other fees are same all

Campus Life

The infrastructure is really good and the college has many festivals which are great for out social life and also gets us to make new friends there are many clubs that works around the college really great

Admission

I applied for bhavans, mithibai, kc college, jai hind college, and thakur college i chose thakur college because i didnt want to travel so long thakur college is closer to mu house so the travelling is not that much

Faculty

The bmm faculty i think is the best because all of them work together and not being any discrimination among rach other and i think there isnt anyother faculty that i dont like every faculty is nice as it should be

Night Life

There are great places all around the college's campus to hangout with friends the cafeteria is also good but theres a maggie point in the college where mostly all the people hangout with there friends

College for students who wanna Hustle

Course Curriculum Overview:

the timings are great for students who wanna work while studying, but that only starts in the SY because in FY there are lectures from 10 to 1, that will give youll time to enjoy as a student, where as in SY n TY lectures will be from 7 to 9

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate 6 out of 10 because the syllabus it has old information. The special aspect of the curriculum is about branding, strategy use to make strong brand in the market. The area for improvement in these curriculum is to provide student the proper software for technical or practical subjects. (like photoshop, indesign, etc.)

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

Placement Experience:

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. I'm planning to do a internship in popular media House.

Remarks:

KJ Somaiya College is a very huge college and has a perfect system of everything. Proud to be a student of this college. They have extra curricular activities cultural forum fests and much more. They also have outdoor Games, athlete ground, hostels, 7 to 8 canteens. The teaching system is quite good they have compulsory 75% of attendance.

TCSC is tremendous!

Admission was on 12th score as cut-off for Maharashtra board students was 78% and for other boards if from Maharashtra it was 84%. For OMS (Outside Maharashtra) it was 88%. So I was in that 84 % bracket and made it just by edge as mine was 86%. Nearly 300 seats and over 30k students compete for that....Read More
