Remarks

So every college has some positive and some negative aspects. So one remarks i would like to pin here is that LD college experiments some new techniques in almost every semester to ofcourse better aspects but this technique directly affact to student which may be not good also.

Course Curriculum Overview

So my college is affiliated to gtu so course curriculum is average as there is always more pressure on theory marks. Exam structure is also average as far as my college is concerned because i have only 2 exams in whole semester.

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are very well as compared to other college because the student of our college i think is more attractive in terms of practical experience as compared to other college.Our college also provide internship.but as i am in currently in 4th semester i have not started any internships.

College Events

In LD colllege there are lots and lots of events organized very well and frquently in the year in which you can enjoy your most.some events i have listed below LAKSHYA(LD's techfest) ISTE SAHITYA SARITA(for art lovers) Etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As LD college of Engineering is goverment college is fee structure is very feasible as there are only fees about 5000-6000 per year including college fees gtu exam fees other fees.So fee structure is very feasible as compared to quality of education

Fees and Financial Aid

So basically i am from open catgory so college has not provided any scholarship but i got scholarship in 'mukhyamantri yuva swavlamban yojna(MYSY) which is the only scholarship for open category students in which they provide you 50% of your college or 50,000 which ever is lower.

Campus Life

College is good in terms of extracurricular activities, labs,sports etc. As there is alnost labs are well equipped,there is lots and lots of events organised very well in whole year so yes you can participate and enjoy also.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful in LD college as there is very friendly environment between seniors and juniors and personally i have disturbed many times senior for assistance for some problems in college and they have supported me always.

Faculty

Faculty of our college is also averge as there are some faculty are always ready to teach practical way but as compared to other college of gtu faculties are flexible also in terms of attendance,assignment etc some rigid problems of engineering.

Placement Experience:

Alembic,pollycab and sunpharma are visiting this callage and I don't know about Highest package but the average like 500000 and the students are have more than 8 CGPA so they are definitely eligible for the placement

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement, too much companies are visited to our campus like , L&T , TATA, TCS many others around 150+ companies. Which is the highest placement in our college is that 20 lakhs and average package is that around 5 to 6 lakhs.

Good brand name for internship but needs more self-effort.

I applied to colleges like LDCE ,GEC Sector 28, PDPU etc.My first Choice was LDCE because it has good reputation, experienced faculty and affordable fees compared to other colleges.LDCE also has better placement support and a strong alumni network. I got admission in LDCE easily because my rank was good ,so I did not go for gec sector 28.PDPU has very high fees so I did not prefer it even though it is good college. The admission process of LDCE is simple and transparent.Admission is done through ACPC counselling based on GUJCET/JEE Main rank. Best Government College

I applied in SVNIT surat but i didn't get a admission in this so the next best college is available is LD engineering college because this is a government college so its fees are very law and the placements of this college is awsome.Yes I got rejected from other college which is SVNIT because of i didn't match criteria of percentage which they want for the admission.For getting the Admission in my college you have to give board exams and a gujcet exams both exam weitage is 50/50% from taht marks you'll get admission....Read More
