Course Curriculum Overview

Want to become a Teacher, always teaches the entrepreneurship skills , communication skills and moreover focuses on overall personality All classes must have digital blackboard,and new teaching methods should adopt by all the teachers exam is time is of 3 hours, which is moderate

So the total fees is 32,000 and college provides opportunities for various programs, conduct activities related to study, foscus on more practical things rather on theory projects . Conduct interview for students and more ncc,nss activities and many students also got job through various programs

Admission

I applies to SD college and got admission in Dev samaj college because it has large room compared to other colleges and most importantly this is girs college Maybbe due to my percentage of 12th class I didn't get admission in other co-ed colleges Admission process is offline ,and we get admission through the percentage of 12th class bcom is the most preferred course Cutoff is approx 96 percentage in my time and depends on results

Faculty

Teachers are very friendly in Nature helps wherever and whenever needed. Shefali mam English teachers one of the favourite teacher among teachers in college,Renu kalra mam accounts teacher always bullys students, each semester contains 2 exam one is mid term and others are final exams .Exam level is moderate mostly all students passes .

Night Life

Yes gym is also there , library closing is at 4:00 pm Hostel is more beautiful and large compared to other colleges cafetaria is in canteen not other proper place for that But locality is not much safe to roam around at night

Learning and Growth at PGGC-11

Placement Experience:

The students can sit for placements in their final year of course. The tricity based companies come for campus placements for jobs that need strong communication skills and basic knowledge of their domain. The maximum package that was offered goes up to 5 LPA, and the average packages are lower than this arounf 3 LPA. I wanted to go for Post Graduation so did not opt for campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Around 80-90% of the students get placed in my course. The average package is 3LPA - 5LPA. This college has a decent placement record. The highest package offered is 7.6LPA. Companies like Google , Deloitte , Amazon , Infosys , Wipro , etc. come to the campus to pick excellent students for their company. The college also has a dedicated placement cell which helps the students to prepare for placements.

Curriculum is not hard ofcourse but it's pretty old fashioned and non modernistic . No technology inculcation in the curriculum. Difficulty level is not much . There should be modernisation of the curriculum. More technology inclusion . More tech based learning . More practical education.

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We do have a training and placement cell which is run mostly run by both students and teachers. Students with good percentile can sit for placements and can get place into companies which are mostly from BPO and sales background. Students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th semester. Companies which have came in our college in 2024-2025 are Sri ram insurance , Kotak insurance , Planet spark , De shaw , Zomato etc. Highest package offered is around 5 LPA and average package is around 1.5 LPA. I have planned to go for higher studies after my graduation, most probably I will be doing MBA.

Application for this college is easy process. You just need to fill a form from dhe.chd.gov.in for which you have to pay very nominal fee ( i paid 70rs in 2023). Teaching methods are okay.likr there's so such thing that college is in Chandigarh so better teachers or something.
