- i really liked the workshops in first year, the clubs this college has and the fests of this college
- classroom , boys common room which has some games like pool and tennis to reduce student pressure
- college has a nice campus with canteen and food variety
Dislikes
- during events there is lots of mismanagements
- some faculties are very strict for example maths sir
- there is a jail behind the college so lots of sounds and distraction occur during exams or lectures.
Course Curriculum Overview
i am studying computer science engineering specialised in internet of thing, cyber security, blockchain technology. but since i am in 2nd year till now i havent seen any subject related to my course specialization. but the subject till now have been fun to study. but they should stop teaching physics and chemistry like i am a computer science student why are you teaching us this .
Internships Opportunities
in first and second year the college doesnt gives any internship opportunities but from 3rd year all you have to do is maintain good cgpa and based on that criteria college will provide many internship opportunities on campus and if you want they will also help you with offcampus internships.
Placement Experience
the placements here is decent like last year a boy from our college got package of 40 lakhs but he could be an exception but the average placement here is 10 lakhs . college has tieups with many great companies like tcs infoysys etc, all you have to do is maintain a good cgpa and rest college will bring opportunities but you have to score good cgpa to get in that criteria.
Fees and Financial Aid
this year i payed 75350 rupees because i have opted for ebc scholarhip meaning economically backward class in this scholarship 40 percent fees is reduced . but if you are normal open then the original tution fees with all labs etc is 137500 and many of my classmates have payed this much. but i suggest go for ebc if you can it reduces the amount .
Campus Life
many fest are organised here like hackatons etc and many musical fests also for students to showcase their talents the clubs here are good like i am in programmers club and there are many more clubs for students to learn and explore new things.
Admission
i got this college in 3rd round of mht cet, i wanted to go to other college but this is also not that bad the cuttoff here for computer engineering is decent you have to be in top 40k rank. there are many more courses like automobile engineering, electronics and telecommunication etc.
Faculty
ok so there are 8 semesters in totl 4 years and 2 semester per year you cannot take your 1st sem kt in 5th sem you have to ckear it till 4th sem. and there are 2 iae exam means 2 unit test before the final sem in each semester. some faculties are great like data structure maam , cg maam dsgt maam.
Night Life
there is a canteen in college but outside college there are many restraunts and cafes for snaks and lunch you should try grills and rolls here it is nice. there are gym equipments in boys common room and water filters on 5th floor and 2nd floor and 3rd floor there is hostel but it is little far from college like 20 minutes traveling since the college is in south bombay there are lots of places to hangout here.
