OVERALL VSSUT REVIEW FROM A FINAL YEAR, (PASS-OUT BATCH 2025)

• I heard about the CSE/IT branch performance of my past seniors which was quite well. So this made me influence my decision to go for Information Technology. • ummmm... for CSE/IT I'll tell that we don't need any physical work....so for Even IITs and NITs it's a fact that professors geneally don't help from their side our Placements. So Same goes here too ! • I'll say, we need more Young Teachers, who Very well know the current situation of Placement Market. •Exams timing can be any time between 9am- 5pm... Mid sem :- 1.5 hrs and End Sem:- 2.5 hrs. With an Avg to Hard difficulty level...but Relax Marking style ranges from Loose- Avg.

• L&T , Infosys, COHORT internship, Glassdoor internship, DRDO summer internship, HAL summer Internship...etc provide internships. • For projects I'll say that Tech. Companies which are provided give good quality Industrial internship as well as Work from Home internship.

• From 2nd Year One can Get placed in our college if He/she is hardworking and brilliant enough. But I general you can get placed from 3rd by getting Pre-placement Opportunity. • JP Morgan,Accenture, Delliote, K-Fintech , Infosys, Aditya Birla, DeltaX, Cognizant, Capgemini, Bitwise, Cartesian, Tata Power....etc. • Highest package 20LPA(JP MORGAN on-Campus) and lower 3.5LPA( Infosys On-Campus). • 85-90% Placed Every year. • I'll Be sticking to the same field. But if I chose I can go for MBA.

• As I'm in the Final Year of BTech Information Technology department now...and will be a passed out in 2025. So this is for all those who are going to take admission in 2025 , My super Juniors... VSSUT's information Technology department is now getting Merged with the Computer Science branch making it a total of 120+ students. • Fees which I paid on an avg per year was 1,20,000~1,40,000 Since Information Technology branch came under of SSC (self sustainable course, which means Double of Normal Fees should be given) criteria. But normally for all other branches we can say max to max 70,000-80,000 may be taken as semester fee per year. • Scholarships come time to time that may provide you a lot of Monetary benefits. Companies like JSW provide a lot of scholarships for students. Even Children having their parents' income > 800000 shall also get scholarship benefits. Read the instructions for the Scholarships carefully before ignoring it for thinking it as available only for <800000. All The BEST JUNOS !!

• VASSAUNT(Cultural Fest) ,SAMAVESH(Technical Fest) , ILLUMINA (Sports Fest). January or February every Year. • All types of Books and Journals available in the LIBRARY. • More 200 Computer systems all Together in CS/IT branch. Smart Board For Advanced Teaching methods as well as Chalk and Blackboard. • Good Sports facility. Scout and Guide Campaign, Chess competition, Football, cricket, Badminton..etc • Robotics Society(which I was a member), IIC club, Souls Music Club (which I was a part too), Vibranz Dance Club, Enigma Coding Club, Quizzine Club(for Quiz wizards)....etc.

• Sound Proof Walls, Large Windows, Satisfactory Space for Bed and belonging Accommodation. 3 Shelves for 4 bed • Good Meal Quality....Depends upon Which hostel you live in. Overall I'll give 4/5 in meal quality... 3 times everyday . • Registeration Fee Pdf and Money Receipt Required for registration in Hostels. • Near The Pool Club (nearest GYM centre) there's a PG for anyone who wants to stay separately.

• I chose this college Since I heard that it was the 2nd Best Institute after The NIT Rourkela in Odisha. Even CET bhubaneswar is better than VSSUT but.... looking into the potential VSSUT holds ..I think it's Overall Better than CET bhubaneswar and can overtake it any year Since things have gotten stricter than Earlier. • I chose CET, NIT Rourkela ( Biotech), KIIT ....but I got VSSUT IT branch in my preference. •Eligibility I'll say ....Just as Cut-off Given by OJEE for every Branch. Cut-off is not known beforehand but is known after u get addmission into the college.

I'll give answer according to the Bullet points Respectively:- • Total Faculty for CS and IT are near about 20. With total of 140 students total CS+IT • Mr Manas Ranjan Senapati and Dr P Sahu sir is the Best Faculty of The Whole CS/IT branch. They are best because of the knowledge they keep in them and They also provide direct help to students especially Manas sir. • Sorryy I cannot then them .... It's like I cannot ! • 2 Semester/Yr . Each Sem:- Mid sem + End sem with quizzes and assignment submission few days before before start of End sems.. somewhat 10 days before. • Marking Style overall seen is Easy and Liberal. But it basically depends upon the Professor on how they have been instructed to Give marks. Generally 4-5 students Fail in Subjects during the End Sem ofcourse. It's made necessary to be a bit stricter, to improve students' performance. And Yeah I'll say.....Course Curriculum is good...which I'll rate 4 out of 5 on the basis of Knowledgeable professors, curriculum Plan/structure....etc

• No GYM(but GYM is under process), Two Cafeteria inside College Campus and Inside Hostel Campus too. LIBRARY inside the College Campus. Dyke, Zero point, Hill top , Ghanteshwari Temple, Hirakud Dam...etc places for Visiting. • For Boys No In time For Above 2nd Year.... So you can roam about anywhere. For Girls 6:30 pm is the hostel in time. • For Food and Refreshments there are lots and lots of Hotels/Resturants/ Thelas/Stalls Etc.... Even just a Km away there is even A Big Medical College VIMSAR hospital, for any medical related issues.
