Remarks
Overall Ramjas can be treated as a college for masses because of the cultural diversity present in the college. The college has its own history and legacy and recently completed 100 years . Despite the flaws Ramjas is an amazing experience in itself.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is based on Choice Based Credit System (Cbcs) in which we study those subjects that are related to our course along with some ability as well as skill enhancement course (AEC and SEC). The exam structure is semester system and we appear for exams at the end of every semester (6 sems for a 3 year course)
Placement Experience
The college has a placement cell known as Pinnacle that works meticulously so that various placement opportunites are provided to the students. The placement cell often provide us with internship opportunities from various companies and NGOs.
College Events
The events celebrated are the fests,freshers and farewell of different departments respectively along with College fresher as well as fest. We also have a sports day every year and also celebrate the Annual day of our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is highly feasible. Being a part of DU, Ramjas College follows the fee structure pattern as set up by Delhi University. No extra curriculum fees is charged apart from this. The fee structure of each course is mentioned on the college website
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not fully aware of any good scholarship or loan facility that is provided by the college but various notices regarding scholarship and loans are displayed on the notice board as well as college website .
Campus Life
The college has its own football as well as basketball team. There is a sports complex located near the ground of the college. Various departments have their respective lab rooms with all the equipment present. These facilities are quite good.
Hostel Facilities
I have not opted for college hostel because of the limited seats that are provided by the hostel. Our college has a seperate girls as well as a boys hostel . The hostel is located inside the campus of the college.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are very helpful from the very start. They help you throughout the admission process and will guide you about various courses as well as about the college. They will also help you with the notes and books required .
Faculty
The faculty of our college is really good. We have some very highly qualified teachers who have in-depth knowledge of their respectve subjects. The teachers are cordial,helpful and teach us to the best of their capabilities.
