Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was very relevant.It undoubtedly prepares you for the corporate life that you have to face ahead in life and give you enough practical and industry exposure so that you get glimpse of what you have to do
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies that visit the campus during internships alongwith tech giants like google, microsoft, oracle, walmart and for petroleum slb, cairn, ongc, indian oil , chevron and many more. You will get ample opportunities in the campus for placements
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty decent.I would not say everyone gets placed, but almost everyone gets placed.If you are sincere from beginning, you are sure to make it and perform well in the intern and placement season
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee is 1 lakh for students. And SC/ST students don't have to pay it. The mess fee is 15k monthly, but there are several scholarships that you can avail like Tution Fee Waivers and MCM, through which you can reduce it
Campus Life
The campus life was great. There are many clubs be it for cultural activities or tech activities. Also there are some student run societies and media body. So, if you are part of club you will get to meet wonderful seniors and juniors and will get to learn a lot
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is pretty decent. we don't get to choose it, we are given it by administration only. And the hostels get changed from time to time and hostels are compulsory for every student of the campus, so forget about renting pgs.
Admission
The college has a brand value of its own. Igoot admission through Jossa counselling, which is the only way to get in IITs. The eligibility is just that clear Jee advance with as much high score as you can and get in
Faculty
The faculties were great. They knew what they were doing and they all are experts in what they do. The marking scheme depends on Prof. But almost it is two quizzes of 10 marks each midsem if 32 and endsem of 48 weightage.
Night Life
The best hangout spot for me was the balcony of heritage. The slow wind while listening song gave a soothing experience and late night walks in campus were a pleasure and the best part the hostel canteens were open almost entire night
