Honest review by a first year student

Companies visiting the campus for placement, industrial visits, internships in the respective fields made me choose this course. The curriculum is totally industry based and wholely based on new curriculm makes it easy to understand the industrial concepts and makes us industry ready There are 3 papers based on three terms per semester and the online objective papers are of around 50 minutes and difficulties in paer are very moderate.

There are internships provided by the university the company that recently visited was dellolite with its paid internship in data science and marketing strategies and many other companies visit for internship and some provide internships with stipends too

After the sixth semster students are eligible to sit in placements, there are many companies arriving on campus such as verka, mondelez, amul, nestle etc and many offers are made The highest placement offered is of around 9lpa and average placement is around 3lpa to 5.5lpa There is 100 percent placement offered (terms and conditions applied) My plans are to pursue my higher studies from abroad

The fee structure for B. Tech is 240000 per year which is the tution fees and includes lab fees, the security deposit is 10000 rs which is paid one time, and a perc fund which is a state fund of around 1200 per semester and if opting for hostel then it has a security deposit of 6400 rs whic is taken one time There is a merit scholarship for students scoring above 95 percent in boards with a wavier of around 50 percent scholarship for the first year only and a 30 percent fee wavier for students scoring above 85 percent in boards. Along with this they have a defence scholarship, sports scholarship (for international and national atheletes), kashmiri migrant scholarship, single parent scholarship anda need cum merit Scholarship for needy students There is a different fees as per the domicile for Himachal student the fees is less as compared to other states domicile

Campus life is overall good with no ragging , there are many events held in campus auch as moksh, manchatantra, sports tournaments etc. There are many clubs associated with the university which include clubs for entrepreneurship, sports etc. Yogananda library is good with their portal where we can find which book is available for all students. The technology is used by all professor to teach their respective subjects using their own ppts pdfs etc. All the clubs are ran by students only

The hostel rooms are good and provided with an attached washroom and bathroom, a personal study table bed with partition good wifi mess laundry and a room cleaning two times a week. Meal quality is good amd menu is repated for almost two months which is a drawback. Registration is easy and on the basis of affordability it is quiet affordable but after each year there is a hike of 5 percent on hostel fees

I have applied in lpu other than shoolini university and my admission was approved over ther but some recent videos of drug abuse and ragging i chose shoolini over lpu. The admission process is bery simple you have to fill up the registration form then you have a meeting with the dean ot HoD of the respeibe field and your application is accepted. The exams accepted for my course are NEET UG, CUET UG, ICAR, JEE AND CUTOFF CONSIST OF A MINIMUM 55 PERCENT SCORE IN 12TH STANDARD

In my branch the student teacher ratio is around 35:1 . The faculty is good and friendly and encourages student to stand out and do the best for the university they can do. FACULTY OF FOOD TECHNOLOGY IS OVERALL GOOD AND THE BEST AMONG THEM IS THE PROFESSOR OF FOOD SCIENCE WITH HIS INNOVATIVE WAY TO TEACH STIDENTS THERE ARE TOTAL 3 EXAMS HELD IN A SEMESTER THE FIRST TERM THE MID TERM THE END TERM ALL ARE OF 30 MARKS FIRST TWO PAPER ARE MOSTLY MCQ BASED AND THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL IS FROM EASY TO MODERATE LEVEL A VERY LESS NUMBER OF STUDENTS FAIL TO CLEAR EXAMS. THE COURSE CURRICULUM IS MAJORLY INDUSTRY BASED FROM THE FIRST TERM ALONG WITH GOOD EXPOSURE WITH INDUSTRIAL VISITS.

My favorite hangout spots are pine court , and yuvraj stadium. The gym opens early morning and closes at 8:30 pm on night there are many food chains associated in university and nearby university i will prefer yellow leaf friends corner bawarchi cafe and nescafe is a must visit. Hostel in timing are 9:00 and to be within campus limits is around 8:30 pm. The locality is safe to hang around for both boys and girls
