- Food quality provided in the college mess like extensively poor.
- Hostel in time for girls in particular was agressively partial as they college get over at 5pm and the hostel last in time is 6pm and coming to boys they have full access to go out of the campus at any time
- some classes were not equipped with ac's as in chennai the heat is imbearable ac are the necessity but some classes were not having that.
Course Curriculum Overview
i was very much interested in eee core stream , area of improvemnt will be exam conduction there were 4 ct is the span of 5 months (i.e one sem) the schdule for cts were aggressive no in-time prepartion were given
Internships Opportunities
techninja offered 15k per month mycaptian 10k per month there was mandatory project we need to do on the last sem with project co-ordinator and many internship WERE OFFERED AND GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO GET EXPOSURE
Placement Experience
from the 7th sem students are eligible for campus placements some companies made offers and didn't showed up were nokia, bosch, ABinbev The lowest package was 2,20,000 and highest was 1cr 90% of students got placement from 2023 batch
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee structure was 2,50,000 per annum for the btech course in EEE The tuition fee was 2,50,000 , There is no hidden caution fee The registration or admission fee is the same and non-refundable i.e 10,000 to be submitted at the time of admission also you have to give the DD on the first date itself inclusive of tuition fee and admission fee there is only exam fee to be paid per sem like in btech course there were 8 sems per sem you have to pay exam charges 3250, in total 26,000 for the entire course. there is fee relaxation for sc st category on the basis of there percentage they got in academics in 12th and semester wise . the management quota fee is slighlty higher like 3.5 lacs for core branches, 5 lacs for cse streams
Campus Life
milan aarush are some fest milan is held on march and aarush in september the entry passes are 1k for each many social technical groups are there college extracurricular activites are beyond expectations immensive opportunity
Hostel Facilities
the room was like a hotel in 2.2 lacs ac room with washgroom attached the hostel name was sister nivedita or m block the meal was ok not that great to be honest but in hostel we had gym ,cafetaria and tv room
Admission
i applied for vit and got into that but the fee were high in comparision to srm. srmjee is the admission test cutoff is the 50% and on the basis of the rank you get eligible for branches. it is great to be part of this college
Faculty
the faculty to student ratio was 40 students per faculty eachsection was assigned program co-ordinator to whom we can tell any related issues narayanmorthi and vidyasagar sir were very helpful and gret learning from them mrs anita mam is very very very strict and particular for everything
Night Life
java canteen is hotspot have various eating options library off time is 10pm outside campus nagraj is the most famous eating spot , aatma and lemon tree is also great places to chill around nearby is the potheri lake
