Students generally become elegible for placements starting form the 6 sem onwards. the companies start recruiting for the internships. Companies like flipkart, moveinsyc, philips, abinbev, whatfix, playsimplegames, optimyzr, etc lots of companies were their. highets packege is 52 laks with guys in microsoft to people barely meeting ends in 3 to 4 laks also. percentage of students getting placed is aroung 40 %to 50%. I wanted to do a full time job in a good company. I got intership from college in a MNC and after that I joined another company through college only for my full time iffer.

Their are lots of fun activities happening in the college, lot' of film stars visit the college during these fests, plus exhbutio ns are also theri such as startup india hackathon, devfest, devfolio hackathons,. llibarary is huge with lots of books plus late night availibilty is also their. the classrooms are equiped with porojectors and in the library also you can access the compauter plus computer labs are also their. soprts facilitiesa re also provided with big large grounds to play and choose from all kinds of sports are played they also have a ollmpic size swimming pool. their are a lots of clubs to choose from from singing to literary clubs, dev clubs are also their.

hostels are well furbnished with basic facilities like bed, almirah, table, chair, with attached washroom. AC and Non-AC options are available. meals in the mess are average with rotating menu but with a limited variety. the registration for hostel and mess is done at the time of addmission only with cost staring from 60000 for rooms and 30000 for mess anually. for rnetd rooms you can explore nearby phagwara, and jalandhar with affortable room prices and better food options, but commuting can be a hassle.

It's a college that you would want to go because of the environment it provides. Some things are bad here and there but managable. Once you into the college you can figure it out. The campus is huge, lot's of people are theri, the college fests are their almost every week, exhibitions happen, visits are their so you get to connect to lot of people over their.

The faculty to student ratio is fairly low with one faculty teaching upto 60 to 70 students in a class. They mantain good relationship with student and some of the faculties are approacheble while some of them are strict and just focus on the ppts. Not taking names but I liked faculties who taught me Competetive programming in college, they were good they taught me a lot through concepts but onthe same one of the faculty just reads the ppts for CP classes. Their were 3 unit exams each semester from which best of 2 were consired for each subject. Plus the mid sem and the end sem were also their.

The nightlife is good with lots of options to explore from. the library and gym goes to 10pm, while cafeteria stay up open late.hostels have strict enty deadlines, usually aroung 7 to 8pm for girls and 12 to 12:30 pm for boys.popular hangouts are baldev raj mittal open auditorium, model town or pavilion are near the college.the are is generally safe with ample security.
