Life at UEM kolkata

The course and curriculum of this college is similar to other colleges there no very much difference. But there are few subjects like SDP ( skill development for professional) and ESP (essential skills for professional) are some of the subjects which are very good and will help in future as this subject focous on Vedic maths , reasoning and english which is very helpful specially for those students who are aiming to appear in M.Tech or UPSC exams

Placement in this college is very good companies like cognizant, TCS, godrej infotech, mind tree , Accenture, JP Morgan, Infosys busy this college fir recruitment of b.tech professional and you can get internship also

Per semester we have to pay 85000 as semester fees so annually you have to pay a sum of rupees ?170000 and these fees is common for all the categories. For scholarship after admission you have to write a letter to the dean and after that you have to give a merit exam to get qualified and receive rupees 85000

There is no campus life in this college because the campus is very small the whole campus consists of three buliding which are interconnected among each other in which one buliding in of 4 floor 2 nd buliding is of 5 floor and the 3 Rd buliding is of 6 floor and there is no ground or garden in this college and there is also no hostel facility available inside the campus. And on the name of the feasts quiz competition, seminar, and hackathons are held in this campus and if you are taking admission in this college than forget about freshers you are not going to get a proper freshers party in this college

I chose this college among many colleges I also applied for because fees of this college is very much affordable in comparison to other colleges. Secondly this college is ranked one of the top 7 college in West Bengal. Thirdly the placement in this college is Also very good in comparison to other colleges in West Bengal

There is 1 : 25 faculty ration in this college and you have to give many exams in this colleges 2 mind term exam in one semester plus 2 mid term practical exam in one semester and third you have to give semester practical and semester exam also and the paper are tough . The best faculty of this college is Ria Roy Chowdhury mam she is a very polite and helpful teacher and tanmay pramanik sir is also a very good professor his teachings skills are amazing. S.K Goswami sir is one of the professor who is heated by many students as he is very strict person and kartik Sau is also a one who is very much disliked by many students as he is Also very strict and rude professor in this college

Night life is good as this college in situated in Kolkata opposite to college there is a food court and many places are there where you can chill and hangout with your friends but if you are staying in hostel than you are not going to enjoy this all things as the closing time of hostel is 7 pm in the evening and hostel are also not good hostel food is very bad and there are no places to chill inside the college campus as there is only one small cafeteria inside the college campus and at time of lunch it's very crowded and you are going to get the similar food in the 3 food counter present inside the cafeteria
