Remarks

It is mandatory to maintain 75% attendance otherwise a warning letter is being given to all. Students doing other course like CA, CFA , CMA, CS, MBA , Actuaries , banking may not be able to come to collage daily due to their schedule.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well the course curriculum is good. Per year we have got 2semesters and in each semester 2exams are conducted at the gap of 3months. A internal examination or class test is conducted which is of 20 marks and the final exam is of 50 marks

Placement Experience

Well the collage provides placement and job opportunities. As I am in first year so I don't have much idea whether it provides internship facilities of not.. Not I have the idea about the amount of stipend which is being paid .

College Events

Saraswati Puja where all are asked to wear yellow attire Independence day where we are asked to wear white Kurtis with dupattas of any color Women's day where similar t-shirts are distributed to all the girls.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is expensive. The admission fees is 88000 and then per semester the fees is 36000. For many students it may not be affordable. The total graduation fees is nearly 3lakhs. It could have been a bit reasonable

Fees and Financial Aid

Well as this is my first year in this collage I don't have much idea about the scholarship or loan facilities. But as far as I know there is no such facility provided by my collage and there are very few colleges giving such offers

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities like cricket , badminton, National social service activities, nature club activities are encouraged. There are 3-4labs and all of them have got computer that work smoothly .

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very helpful. They help us out and explain us about the expectations of the teachers from us. How we can make our collage like fun and enjoy and study at the same time. We can contact they any time without hesitation.

Faculty

The faculty members arr quite responsible. They make sure that the students are able to understand the topic under discussion. If someone is unable to understand they willingly give us some extra class or time and help us out

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

JDBI has God level teaching!!

Admission here depends on your 12th grade and we also have a test on checking our English. Students who fail there even if he/she has good grades in 12th stands not eligible. Only 60 students per class so admission becomes that tough and this is why students run in to get admission here....Read More
