Dibrugarh university review

Positive is the infrastructure ,lab facilities , placement etc but negetive is faculties present. The faculties are not upto the mark according to me so this has to be resolved. College timings and class timings are good .

It's a very good course .Exam structure consists of physics , chemistry, biology each having marks 100 that is total of 300 marks out of which one has to score 150-200 to get admission in good college.

Placement is good ,most of the IT companies visited the campus. Some good PSU also recruits but in very less number . You can easily get a job in IT sector or other normal services like sales and marketing.

There are numerous events held in the University .the engineering department organises AUXESIS the annual technical and cultural fest of the University which is also the largest fest in this region. Other programs are also held.

The fees is little bit expensive. Per semester it's around 50000 and some other even semesters fee is 60000 . The infrastructure is good with respect to the fees . But one can get scholarship or loans to find their education.

Loan facility can be availed from nearby SBI bank or PNB bank available inside campus. They give loan at very less interest rate .Also one can get state scholarship as well as UGC Ishan Uday scholarship .

Labs are good infrastructure wise and faculty are also good. There are 2 big sports ground where one can play all games. Also indoor sports stadium are present where you play indoor games . Gym is also there.

Hostel infrastructure is good having around 400 seats .the hostel fees are less that is 3000 a year for stay and 1900 per month for food .there is WiFi facility and also sports ground so overall hostel facility is good.

Alumni network is not so strong because of lack of communication . senior students are helpful there but once they get out of college the communication gap is increased so you can't expect help . This is one thing that needs to be addressed.

Faculties are average ,some of them are good .Most of the faculty are young that is aged below 30 and are less experienced in terms of teaching and practical experience. Some of them are good but they are minimal.
