Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is kinda good and the college definitely prepares the student for real life challenges and the frequency and timing of exams are kinda bad and the exams are quite not hard enough you can study one night before to pass the exam

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 896000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The company's mostly provide the job of data engineer some of the companies are tech Mahindra Accenture high radius and cognizant and every semester there is a major and minor project review and the project is reviewed obviously by higher authorities

Placement Experience

After 3rd or in the end of 6th sem students are ready for the placements interview and many companies like Wipro Infosys tech Mahindra and Accenture visited often and the highest salary is around 750000 and the avg salary is around 400000

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fees yearly is 224000 for hostelers including the hostel fees and the tution fees is yearly is 149000 the registration fees is 1500 and the college provides study loan while the administration process is going on

Campus Life

Every year there is particularly branch fest for every branch and there one annual cultural fest which takes place once in a year for every branch and every course sports and ecc are also provided clubs are also there and the library is kinda big

Hostel Facilities

The facilities provided by the college in the room are one attached bathroom 3 bed for 3 students and chair and table is provided wifi also provided but the speed is kinda slow and the meal is worse every week the menu changes and the meals is worse the registration process is for hostel is worst and I reside in jj

Admission

Actually by I was having some kinda issues with other college they were asking for donations only this was the college which didn't ask for any kinda donation and the eligibility is 12th pass and in this college you can easily get a degree that's why only I choose this college

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is actually 1:10 there are 2 phases of classes in which 1st is morning and 2nd is afternoon theere are 2 mid sems and 2 class test after then the end sem exams are conducted

Night Life

Gym is provided by the college and the fees for the gym is provided after the semester and the hostel and campus timings are from 8 to 1 pm and yes it is safe to roam around at night only 1 famous place is there that is cool Parlour

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
