- The equipments in my lab are either too old or not fuctioning which causes me trouble while performing experiments.
- Their is an major issue of internet connectivity in my college campus. It is very difficult to acccess the internet and make phone calls .
- Canteen of my college is not so fascinating. It offers mediocre food at relative high price. I usually avoid eating at the canteen.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curricullum is focussed on providing practical knowledge bout the subject to the students rather then making them cram the books just to gain marks.Their ae lot of subjects that can be opted as additional subjects as on may like according to his interest.Teaching can be improved by more interaction between the teacher and the students.Exams are held at the end of the semester and are of moderate difficulty.
Internships Opportunities
My seniors have a lot of experience about interships. Some of my senior friends have completed internship in ISRO which is like a dream for everyone.Their is a seperate team of students in my department which guides the interested students how to grab an internship interview. I am in their contact and will definitely try my best to grab every opportunity.
Fees and Financial Aid
I belong to general category and i have paid Rs19613 for my 1st year.Their are not other charges that i had to pay while taking admission.An additonal Rs1910 is paid by me which is examination fees for 1st semester which is charged by the Delhi University.No other charges are requested from me apart from this.The fees is same for everyone except physically disabled students. PWD students have to pay Rs125 as annual fees instead of Rs19613
Campus Life
Mosaic is the annual fest of my college which is held on 7th and 8th May every year. It is a pleasure for an individual to experience it. Their is a huge library for the reading enthusiasts. All the classrooms are spacious and modern. Their is a sports complex as well along with a huge ground for football and cricket.
Admission
I kept Ramjas College on the top of my priority because it is famous for its physics faculty in whole Delhi University. It has probably the largest physics department in the whole university. I want to pursue my career in research so i choose this college as the faculty would play key role in research. Admissions in my college are done through CUET exam.The score is out of 600. I scored 396/600 and got admission in the first round of counselling and i belong to general category.Above 60% is a good score to get admission.
Faculty
The faculty is very friendly and coperating. The teachers are always ready to give out helping hand when requested. DR Sachin Kumar is my favourite. He is highly qualified and has completed his PhD form IIT Delhi. Apart from his qualification he his genuinely humble. I admire him a lot.Exams are setup by Delhi University and the level of exam depends on the professor preparing the question paper.But normally it is of moderate level.
Night Life
Gym is also available in the college. Students hangout in the canteen and ground after the classes. In morning my classes start at 8:30 and the campus gets closed for the hostlers at 9pm. The most famous hangout spot is Sudama Chai wala.The campus is completely safe to be explored at night.Police patrols the area continuously so their is not a safety issue.
