Likes
- Our college is mammoth and still all the facilities and all are so well maintained here.
- Our college placements are not just best in Dhulia region but can be compared with colleges of Mumbai, Pune or Nagpur.
- College has ensured safety as its top priority and therefore ladies hostel have guards day in and day out.
Dislikes
- The campus in time is 7 pm and that's like too strict as our college ends at 4 pm and we hardly have time then to step out of the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since teaching quality is good and Neha mam who is our main class teacher she is always on the verge of breakout of any other teachers don't look after us. So, she is my favourite by far and I wish that she stays with us all the remaining semester that I have at RCPIT.
Placement Experience
Infosys, Amazon, Cisco and many other top IT service companies comes at numbers in our campus. We have a training program and from algorithms to analytics we are trained in all and hence almost every single student gets placements. Highest placements that has happened at our campus is of 19 lakhs and average is around 6-7 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
RCPIT an autonomous college with all on facilities charges just 1.26 lakhs a year. For backward class students the fees is around 20k as they have to pay 0 tution fees and only the other charges have to be beared by them.
Campus Life
Converges is our annual fest and Roxo is our annual sports fest. We have a hall full of sports bodies and facilities like hockey, circket and others. We have three huge buildings at the campus that are for academics and two hostel buildings for boys and girls inside the campus.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostel is amazing and fees is like nothing as 58k for a room shared by two. The room has inbuilt washroom and also we can hop from one room to the other. There's no restriction inside the hostel building. The mess is quite good as South Indian food is what we have mostly for breakfast and Gujarati dishes for lunch and North Indian food items for dinner.
Admission
I applied for PICT but 98 percentile was the cut off there and I had got rejection from there. It was a heartbreak but with RCPIT I have no regrets and have equally good memories that I might have made there. At RCPIT a percentile of 90-92 is required and that is how admission happens here.
Faculty
Faculties of our college has maintained a teaching quality like no one else. Their backgrounds are teaching plus industrial as well so they bring both aspects to the table. I love the way they help us with our projects and are also quite easy going when it comes to giving numbers.
Night Life
Our campus is enough as cafeteria and gardens in our campus are also beautiful. However, the recreation garden near the campus are so crowded and beautiful in evening that we majorly go there. Among restaurant and hotels, Maharaja Hotel has the food to die for.
