The whole college management is really great. It is a beautiful college, well maintained, and a really good place to study in.

The course curriculum is now said by the officials of GIET itself, as it has now gained the status of a University. Previously it was under BPUT, but now it has gained the autonomous status. The course curriculum is designed on how to make the engineers more prepared for the upcoming market and focuses on their skill development. Exams are conducted twice in a year after each semester, there are 2 mid sem exams in each semester, and vst's every week.

The placement for the college is very good. Core branches do have a little bit of trouble, but IT companies recruit almost all the students in the campus itself. I haven't availed any internships yet so I cannot say anything about that.

Many events are celebrated in our college, there are fests that are of 3 days each year. Also show the observation days like Gandhi Jayanti, Republic Day, etc. Are celebrated in our college as well. The first consists of cultural events as well as various sports, debates, etc.

The college fees is about 1.5 lakh per annum. The hostel fees is also close to 70000 per annum. Which surrounds it of 22.5 lakh per annum. The gym charges 5 rupees per day and so does the swimming pool. The mess charges are included in the hostel charges.

I have not availed any scholarship for education loan. however, during the counselling, there is a form for a scholarship and education loan.

The girls and boys are completely segregated. The girls have their hostels outside the campus and the boys inside. The Labs are well maintained and well equipped. There is a gym, swimming pool, badminton court, basketball court, And 3 playgrounds. There is also a music room for interested people and a rang manch(stage for drama).

Hostel facilities are great. All the hostel is clean and well maintained. Each room comes with an attached basin, A shower, a bathing area, and a toilet. There are three availabilities for rooms. 3 man occupancy, 2 man occupancy, and single occupancy. The two men occupancy and single occupancy rooms are grouped in blocks and each block has a single toilet.

The senior students are very friendly. That is absolutely no ragging on the campus. They are very helpful and guiding.

There was an office of this college in Rourkela, I went there in early June and presented my request to join this college. The official confirms my marks and filled the form for the college. Counseling dates were given to me and the counseling fees of rupees 10,000 was taken. Presented myself in the college on the given date. On 29th July my admission was confirmed and my hostel was allotted.

The faculty of the college is very knowledgeable, and friendly. We are provided with proctors that guide us through to the whole curriculum. A group of 20 students is made and a proctor is assigned to them. The faculty is very polite, understanding and helpful.
