Venky is somewhere you can have the proper College life

I am a commerce student and I genuinely love my stream which is why I opted for bcom. My main focus is accounts which is one of the core subjects along with business laws and management.I think the curriculum,the exams etc are very organised and right for the course.What I don't like is that the BCom program students can only choose Hindi or Evs as their ge unlike the BCom hons students who have many options.

The placements are quite good.You can get an average of 6.5 lpa just by doing BCom which is pretty good and it can go even higher .You can also pursue a professional course like ca or cfa as this college is not very strict and you will be able to manage your time.I have hear that big companies like delloite and Sonari have hired from Venky.

I have paid 20775 for year 1 and it is supposed to be more or less the same for the next 2 years.I also had to pay a 250rs registration fees for applying to Delhi university .Also,you are required to pay an examination fees before every end semester exams along with filling the application form.I paid Rs1310 as exam fees but it varies from course to course.

The college experience has been really good as there are many clubs and societies and each one of them is very active.These societies are student led and can prepare you for what you have to face in the future in the real world.We have many events like jalsa and nexus which are famous in the whole Delhi University.The library is also great especially for getting the course books.There are active teams for various sports and they go for various competitions throughout the year.

I also applied to st xaviers Kolkata but it was too strict and too much like a school for me and a good college experience can definitely be had in Delhi university.Also, the fees of my college is very minimal as compared to the rest of the private colleges.The admission process of my college was included with all the others of Delhi university.I filled a preference sheet of colleges after getting my Cuet score and I got my 6th preference at 752/800 and I am honestly happy about it.

The faculty I feel is genuinely very good especially at such a minimal fee.They explain the syllabus very well and are very communicative with the students.I do believe that the BCom faculty is the best based on what I've heard from al the students.There are a couple of teachers who are a little too strict but most of them are flexible.We have to give assignments and internals before the end semester exams but there are not too many of them and 90% of the students are able to clear all their exams.

There is not much of a nightlife .People hangout till evening after college but a nightlife in the college is not present.Even the hostel is very small so there is not much to do there either.We do have fun in the afternoon and evening especially in the canteen and maggi point.
