My college life

As they take good amount of students every year, i feel the classrooms should be AC classrooms with smart boards. Because during summers the students don't feel to study and so they doesn't attend most of the classes during afternoon, and ac classrooms should help to solve this problem.

The course curriculum is very good and well sorted because the college is under MAKAUT board. Makaut board is very easy for engineers to pass because it doesn't create much pressure on students. The syllabus is well sorted in 8 semesters. To pass you have to score 40% marks in total. 70 marks is in theory marks and the rest 30 marks are in internal exams which happen two times in each semesters. There are also lab papers for certain subjects where you have to score well for your average cgpa to increase. Projects and seminars are also done to increase the knowledge of students.

Placements and job opportunities in our college is very good. A student who wants job can really get one from our college because it is under techno group and you can certainly get a job at the end of your final year. Regarding internship, it does not provide any internship.

When you enter the college you get freshers party. This party is for the first year students given by their seniors. Then we have the college fest celebrated before the end of the even semesters. Juniors also celebrate the fairwell party given to the final year students.

Fees structure is feasible for middle class family students. First semester fees is around Rs.75000 and from the second semesters its around 40-45000. You can see the fee structure from the college website for further details. The college website is www.aec.edu.in

I am not aware about any loan facility that the college provides. But i know that if you score a good marks in your wbjee exams then you and if your family's incomes is under 1 lakh per year then you may get some discount on the course fee.

Lab facilities in our college is just excellent. One of the best lab facilities you will get here. Students who are interested in sports can participate in many cricket or football tournament in our college only. They are very keen to extracurricular activities and supports those students accordingly.

I don't have any knowledge about this, it is only known to the higher authorities. But i haven't seen any senior helping to develop something good in this college. May be they have, but I don't have any information regarding this. So better not speak about this.

I don't know the faculty of other departments, but in our department faculty is quite good. They are very helpful towards students. We can seek any type of help from our teachers whenever necessary and the important part is that they don't even get irritated.
